Over Miyazaki's dead body most likely. I see such comments in Japanese threads so the guy must have banned figures human characters of his films being made. Otherwise we would've seen tons of statues of Kikis and Nausicaas. But no just some models and tiny charm things.

They know there is demand. At this point Miyazaki must not be cool with it. After he is gone (or stop caring) we will get an overload of figures. Anno will make his own Nausicaa films probably.

Me too. Kiki is my favourite. There's a Liccarize doll coming out soon. But apparently their quality can be a bit garbage and she really isn't posable.
