It's a Banpresto prize figure. Like all of them it's a statue.

Even without that knowledge, you can see it from the picture.

Solid prototypes for an action figure are not made in pose anyways.

It still blows my mind they didnt jump at the chance to produce a whole line of figures with interchangeable armor and weapons, and maybe even Monster Arts style boss figures.

I think you underestimate how many people would buy an internationally available figure with Elite Knight armor, or some other super popular armor set.

I think you overestimate that number. They would be super pricey anyways because they wont make as many, the PAK strategy of game figures.
