That "toy" gun is indistinguishable from are real gun, especially in a split second decision. Tyre King was a JV thug that was using that "toy" gun to commit armed robberies. He was dumb enough to pull that "toy" gun out on a police officer who had a "real" gun.

He was no innocent child and got what he deserved for being so arrogant & stupid. I don't see why we need to make a new law to save dumb criminals from themselves.

Honestly it looks like the system worked the way it should have, and a menace to society got what was coming to him before he was able to graduate up to bigger, nastier crimes. No new laws needed.

If some punk with a gun says he isn't getting arrested, you're not arresting him without a gun of your own. You have to be alive to put on cuffs and get him in the car.

There's a difference between where I agree with you, which is that cops should assume a higher risk and a degree of selflessness, and your full potato level of having cops not use lethal force when it is warranted.

the only blame the police should take is that they did not have enough training to disable the kid instead of killing him, which I think is pretty damn hard to do when the guy you're shooting at is an underage 13 year old kid. if this kid had enough brain cells to commit armed robberies then he should know that holding up a fucking gun to a police will get him shot.

This is fucking hilarious. Look at the North Hollywood shoot out for why that's fucking retarded.

Two individuals who were heavily armed and armored were able to rob several banks and once confronted by police engaged them in a 44 minute long fire fight. How could this be? Because cops weren't carrying patrol rifles/carbines standard in their vehicles and their handguns and shotguns didn't do shit to the armor the individuals were wearing.

It took the city SWAT team who were using AR-15s to stop them.

I guess you'd rather let those guys kill a bunch of cops and ordinary citizens though because cops shouldn't have any scary guns!!!
