It's more like 'I don't understand why people ask about (something that has obvious appeal but doesn't appeal to them, therefore the idea of dumb'. It's really only within the Transformers community that has people upset over this kind of stuff (in general, not necessarily the poster who asked it).
Also that, apparently, you cannot want both transforming and non-transforming shit either.
