This. I really hate the whole BAF thing wasting my money. I think it'd just be better to do something like...Every figure you buy gets you a coupon code, but you have to collect them all to complete that code. When you complete a set and collect all the codes, you can get a discount to buy the big Built figure. but if youre not a completionist, you save money anyway buying like 3 guys and the built figure IF you want the latter, so you dont have a torso piece lying around

I dont know about that. Its very common, I see this with marvel figures. Gi Joes get parts stripped off and older figs repacked. Vehicles get drivers swapped alot too, or just plain stolen.

When the World of Nintendo first wave hit, someone bought every single.one from target, resold link, returned the Mario figures to TRU and got $11 in credit for a figure they paid $9 for next door.
