Keep in mind I'm not a huge toy collector and have no Japanese figures (beside a dope revotech Gamera I got on sale for 20 on Amazon), but I love Godzilla and Japanese monster films. My collection is the aforementioned Gamera revotech, and then the NECA versions of 54, 84, Burning and 2014. 54 is probably the most screen accurate, but the 84 is my favorite figure. I really with they woulda made the 2014 like an inch bigger though, just because I have the on my desk together n it just seems weird having him the same size. I'd totally buy a rerelease if he was an inch bigger n had the blue fins going.
I plan to buy the NECA Shin, and I hope he's a little bigger too. I wish they had a purple version of him going n not the glowing red version.
Bumms me out NECA hasn't made any other Toho monsters yet either. I'd buy the shit out of em. I just can't bring my poor self to pay the prices of those Japanese figures, especially the older harder to get like Anguirus (my favorite). But NECA's 20 buck price point really feels comfortable to me with the quality I get. I can't justify paying much more on my budget though. I hope we get more Toho monsters from them. Also, an earlier goofy Godzilla or a Final Wars version
