Just got today... To unbox or not... I pretty much hated the last star wars movie, but for some reason (fan boy?) I'm actually stoked for Rogue One. And this guy looks pretty much bad ass.

Anyway what determines rather you open up a figure or leave it in the box?

If you want articulation in this scale, it's exclusively sold at WalMart.

At least his head is fun to fuck around with.

You should also consider doing the revoltech-joint mod. Just cut the circles out and make holes big enough to insert the pegs for revoltech-type joints.
Pretty easy mod.

You won't find the articulated normal line everywhere because stores like Target ditched the line and TRU wasn't going to order enough, so WalMart made a deal to order a lot and make it exclusive.

Pulled the joints off of my Protect Gear to do just that, though I may just wait for the 3.75" Black Series version and do mods to that one, if any should prove necessary.

An anon in the lego gen is making k2so with some good articulation, the hips could be ball joints though and you could build a waist that bends.
The hands look dumb but there are much better ways to make hands.

There are. 6mm, 8mm and 10mm are standard, though I think the Evangelion Revoltechs have 4mm joints.
