>>5968638Dang, grats on the finds, especially Phasma! Walmarts in my area never got that wave of 3.75" Black Series. You wouldn't happen to have more Phasmas in your area, would you? Been hoping to find someone who could middleman one for me.
>>5972666Glad to help, and thanks! The 3.75" vehicles are definitely my favorite thing about SW collecting, so I was really lucky to get back into collecting when I did. It was right around when you could pick up a fair range of awesome, yet heavily discounted vehicles (snagged a Vintage Collection Millennium Falcon for under $100!), plus the last few great new/re-issued vehicles like the TRU ones you mentioned, Amazon TIE Interceptor & Slave I, and the Republic Gunship with gunner pods!
>Damn I had them in my hands multiple times but naahh i got other priorities or they will be here next week. Haha, totally understand the feeling, especially with TRU's high MSRP for their exclusives. I always waited til I at least had some kinda coupon before picking them up.
>>5972679Nice score! And yeah, like I get that Hasbro is trying to make vehicles more appealing toys to kids with all the Nerf stuff, but I wish they'd try and give at least the option for more accurate vehicles like they did in the past. For example the AT-ST; it included both an oversized missile launching main cannon AND a movie-accurate cannon, which you could easily swap between depending on what you wanted.
I mean, I totally would have bought a U-Wing if you could swap out the Nerf launcher for a troop compartment or something. I'm pretty disappointed with how obtrusive the Nerf elements are on both the U-Wing and TIE Striker, and just can't bring myself to buy 'em (and this is coming from someone who actually liked the TFA X-Wing and TIE toys, haha).
