Some of it is broken straight out of the factory. Like you don't even have to open the toy and you can see parts broken off. There was quite a few reports like that for the NECA Diablo figure and it's movable jaw basically breaking off in the package. Then other parts broke as well upon opening it.

As for what's causing it...I would say lazy workers, stupid packaging that stresses/warps parts and then there is some who break shit because the paint has frozen the joint entirely.
