I haven't been having those lately. Instead, I dream that I'm on /biog/ discussing stuff that doesn't exist. Feels kinda real now that Bionicle is no more but we're talking about it.

Like in one dream, some anon found a UK promo where they gave away either sealed 04 canister sets or miniature Tahtorak polybags with a Lego magazine.

Then someone discovered a Cryoshell music video from 2003. It was a solemn rock ballad about Jaller living in the shadow of Lhikan's legacy. It had McToran Jaller animated in Miramax style wandering the desert with parts of giant Lhikan statues all over the place. He had to carve his home in Lhikan's foot, which for some reason was a Slizer head instead of a Metru foot. Sadly I forgot the tune when I woke up.

You just start a wanted list and there should be a button that says "upload".
Do be careful of a few things, namely;
>Some parts may not be registered- their presence will block your .lxf from uploading completely and you will have to remove them. All of the bricks from the two most recent LDD updates and many minifigure parts fall under this umbrella.
>Parts accepted by LDD may be accepted in colors that they do not exist in, you will usually be able to identify this if the part does not have a thumbnail in the wanted list. Deleting and e-adding the item in a color that exists will usually fix this.

Only ever had two dreams about this. One happened to me before G2 popped up, however in the dream, Lego brought back bionicle continuing where it left off, changing from the dynamic of having a team of hero's and a team of villains with supporting characters. Instead, it hosted different characters that all something in common: they all suffered from mutation. some were revamps of characters already sold in the past, one in particular being krika in a silver form after returning from nonexistence. The second dream continued this, with a new wave similar to the last, but with the feel of figures coming out of darkness. One was a returning reidak with a new build.

I was tempted earlier. Ran by TRU since I was home for the weekend, they still have a decent amount. Every set from the summer wave, a Master Gali and Lewa, most of the Skulls, and then Ikir, Akida, and Ketar. Almost bit bullet on Ikir, need him still.

One time I remember dreaming of a "Glatorian War" set. The box was enormous and the art depicted ten or so unique canister-sized Glatorian battling with each other. No titans or anything, just a massive collection of unique Glatorian to play with. It cost about £100.

Also i didnt really miss canisters, i didnt really care for year 1s thin boxes but i liked year 2s cardboard boxes. A bonus of them is that if you want to keep them but dont have a lot of space you can cut the tape and flatten them and store them somewhere. And also boxes pver canisters means bigger better box art. The beasts and ekimu have amazing box art

Arm and leg bits are coming in soon, just wanted to post progress and my success at getting an onua top and shoulder function working for a swivel waist torso. The green chest is a stand in for purple.

I'd love to hear suggestions, I want to flesh out the shoulders more, but I don't know what piece I want to use.

And a weapon suggestion would be nice.

A good portion of these are standin parts, so don't get your panties in a bundle.

imo, the biggest reason is because the rahkshi head only has 1 place where you can attack something. That point is round and only half a unit thick. Because it is round it means that whatever you want to add to it can move around very easily. The metru chest piece prevents this because it fits over the head and down the back of the head preventing this sideways movement.
Thats why people use that piece.

My second best part would be a droid body. Which doesnt move around and can be customized alot.

While I'm at it, figured I'd ask you guys another question. I've been considering putting the wings on the back of the MOC instead of the arms, but I have a feeling that would make it look a bit too draconic. I considered that, but decided against it for a number of reasons. My selection of lime parts is surprisingly limited. What you see on the table represents the vast bulk of it, and the rest is all av-matoran limbs. I could make the claws black instead, but having so little of what should be the primary colour below the knees would throw off the colour balance. I could also try making something custom, but given the sheer amount of system pieces I'd have to use, it'd probably end up looking really blocky. Finally, I could try painting a few black pieces, but I typically try to limit my use of heresy unless it's absolutely necessary, in base I ever want to use those pieces for something else.

Plus, I think it fits the character I have in mind for this MOC to not look overly feral.

the composer of the mnog score (justin luchter) said he was gonna remaster it a couple of years ago, i think it was around 2012. dont think hes really talked about it since the last time we got concept art of mnog from templar studios so i doubt hes still working on it. but you could always send him an email and ask.

So its not quite done, just need a head but I am terrible at those. But here is my long lasting project I've been doing. It stands 9 1/2 inches foot to neck, has full arm (and hand) and leg including foot articulation and waist and neck articulation.
Anyone got any good head design ideas that would fit? Sorry my camera is garbage.

One time I had a dream about this super cool toy store that was specialized on selling CCBS products. Not just Bionicle, but also some other IP that doesn't actually exist but seemed really neat.
Another time, I can't remember when this was but I think it was after we got the leaks in 2014, I had a dream about how Lego rereleased a bunch of G1s most iconic sets, but included an extra "movie edition" part in it. Like they had the 03 Matoran Takua, but they included a movie accurate version of his Pakari, complete with multiple colors and everything. They were packaged in these really prestigious boxes, with velvelt-like inlays for the figures to rest in and a window that displayed the (pre-assembled) figure. Kind of had the aesthetic of an expensive movie theater. Then I woke up mildly disappointed.
There was also that one time where I had a dream that the Skrall commited a terrorist attack on my school but I'm too lazy to type that out now.

Just got info from a reliable source that there's going to be a new CCBS theme next spring. (2018)

Apparently it's still in it's early stages of development. Not much more information to give.

Unfortunately can't disclose anything that would support my claims. Don't think I'll be able to get or give any more info.

I guess just cap this and wait guys, seems pretty promising. Pretty happy about it. Also positive that my source isn't fabricating. Take this how you will, just thought I should let you guys know.

Actually fuck it, this shouldn't give away too much about his identity.

My source is my brother who is a science fiction writer and has been approached by lego.

He's a reputable writer who has worked with a few major video game story teams and has 5 published books. Obviously I can't say what they are :P

He's been pitched the concept and has been working with a team of writers to flesh the story out. Also in talks for writing a novel independently. Apparently there is already quite a fair amount of conceptual work done. Concept art, early concept models and a basic story plan. He says it seems QUITE a bit different from Bionicle but WILL NOT disclose any information.

Really hope you're legit, because working with an external writer this early suggests they're actually putting some effort into the story this time. I still remember that Ryder Windham interview where he described all the obvious plotholes he had to fix after he got hired.
