The toys in the short are masterfully designed stuff, well articulated awesome designs backed with a bunch of high tech, mostly cool gimmicks. It's a line with the scope and variety of something like Masters of the Universe but moved up to the technology of today. However no toy company can afford to actually make toys with the current level of technology, so instead they make shit thats on the level of technology with 1995 but with 1/4th of the artistry.
Why we haven't seen ONE actually badass line of toys ala Skylanders where they take the technological edge- with digital components and interactive play sets- but actually make decent toys instead of little nerd hummels?
