>>6013630Lets just say I had too many bad experiences with hasbro qc, I am highly aware they're made in the same factories, if anything I suspect hasbro molds are just used used longer than takara ones.
My hasbro seekers are progressively getting worse, my starscream is shit, I need to pry his chest apart so his cockpit can slide down, and I need excessive force to pull his legs apart for robot mode, yet a second hand acidstorm who I got from an ebay auction loose held up better, I dread a hasbro skywarp but I'm on this cheaper path for a reason.
Same for the datsuns, my first taste was a takars smokescrean and despite a paint chip (second hand cheap from mandarake, 5000yen) he was perfect, got hasbro prowl, tad stiff in places and slightly crooked tampo's, but he was passable.
Then came to bluestreak, had to empty out an entire tru's inventory on 2 separate occasions to find one that could transform without parts catching or a paint job that didn't look like a drunk man freehand's the paint.
But that was nothing when I got a hold of 2 lambor ko's, my g2 sideswipe had shitty paint on his grin and loose upper arms but he was sorta passable provided I didn't use his own guns on him as they were too heavy, and my red alert can't roll as the pins aren't even slotted properly causing him to sag.
The worst part is I have a mp ramjet with a missing section shoulder section (its the crown cape shit for starscream so not essential), and my takara wheelie has the same wheel issue as my ko mp red alert.
In short, I had a shitty time with hasbro figures, and takara too, but my bias is 100% agaisn't ko's unless its meant to update the original, like mpp10, but I haven't gotten one yet so I'm bracing for disappointment, it just seems hasbro uses their molds for longer, not that I'm afraid to buy their shit, I fixed my own skylynx, fuck the UW
