Lately I've been having bespoke finger boxes made by local artisans. One local guy is making finger boxes from aged scotch barrels and leather taken from old WWII german aircraft upholstery. They look and feel amazing.

I'm torn between the DX170 and the DX180, which one has bigger momentum? I already know the 180 has a better inside felt, but what about efficiency of design?

The DX180 is pretty much a cosmetic upgrade. The specs are more or less the same. For the price I'd say it's not worth the extra features.

Someone said Lucasfilm were licencing one, but I think it was bullshit (Google comes up blank and the new film's just around the corner). I like the basic Japanese ones that came out (in Britain) about ten years ago, but I have to mod' the holes made for tiny, delicate Oriental fingers to accommodate my stumpy, fat, Western digit.
