No photoshop or very little from what one of the guys told me. There's even a pic detailing your A, B, and C sides which handle the main shot, alternative angle, and I think C side being the actual framing of your display setup to show off how you managed the diorama to create the shot.

What you want to avoid is painfully obvious shots like setting up your bookshelf as a backdrop with shoddy lighting. Plus you have to make sure you hide stands or arms that hold the figure by manipulating the camera angle when you take the shot. I've seen shots like a guy using his computer tower for some marvel display and usually those posts get taken down.

ACBA are the last people I'd go to on advice for toy photography. You are coming off like a bumravaged fanboy dude.

Aside from photo quality, nothing they do is impressive or groundbreaking. I would even go as far to say most of the posing they use is bland as fuck.

I once submitted to ACBA and they told me they had a problem with my shit because it didn't use scale props and dioramas. Fuck that shit.

Take pic related for example. I specifically wanted a dungeon look so I shot this behind a rock vs building a shitty dio and posing the figure right in front of a brick wall.

Well it's obviously cause the shot's centered around a figure. It's supposed to be centered around cutouts. Everyone knows action figure photography should focus on how well you're able to cut out shitty scans of comic book characters and focus them against a generic alley background.
