Listen, I always considered this thing just a gimmick with no real value, but I was thinking about it now. I have a lot of compulsory habits, like clipping my nails and the flesh on the side, biting them, removing hair with pliers. I get really anxious and annoyed if I don't do these things. You think something like this could work as a substitute?

I can relate when biting the skin side by the nail, I never do enough to bleed though. And cracking my knuckles. Plus I have/had hair picking/pulling tendencies when I get anxious, but what stopped is when I had my hair cut short.

Using such gadget might help, just hope that the clickers/button/toggle will satisfy your habits. I had better luck with a nice round stone to hold in my pocket, or popping a Snapple bottle cap as a kid.

I saw some pics on taobao, reviews posted by buyers, not promo pics. The bootlegs look kinda bad, but good enough quality for the cheap price, I guess, judging by the reviews.

My grandfather used to keep two silver dollars in his pocket all the time, and he would rub them together constantly. Not sure if it was a mental thing or if it was just a habit, since he'd do it with all of his pocket change. I should restate I really like to click pens a lot at work and at home which I don't see as a big issue I feel that it's soothing or for the lack of a better word "satisfying."There's a rhythm to it and in general I'm in a more optimistic and active mood when I approach my work while clicking away. Although I didn't back the project I would definitely pay more than $25 because I don't have kids or any responsibilities other than myself so I tend to use a lot of my disposable income on stupid bullshit hell that's why I love coming on /toy/ but you're right I suppose some people are viewing this thing as a substitute for professional help. All I can think of is that episode of the Sopranos where AJ gets diagnosed with ADHD and Tony basically decides that the school therapist is full of shit.

Pretty much this for me. I would have killed for something like this in school. Generally my teachers never had a problem with me drawing in class, just one in college, but damn I had to keep my hands busy or I couldn't concentrate on their speaking. I'll still probably get one since I still tend to fiddle with change in my pockets or whatever's available in public.

USPS is the only federal government branch that is forced by Congress to actually be profitable. That includes their pensions. Talk shit on their service all you like, but they don't cost us ANYTHING.
