The rule about Japanese statues causes more trouble than it's worth, and that's coming from someone who doesn't give a flying fuck about anime or statueshit. Every time someone happens to mention a statue or some newfag makes a post asking about them, the same group of pedantic shitposters starts sperging out about NO JAPANESE STATUES and more often than not derails perfectly good threads into debates about the rule and general shit-flinging. Replacing it with a "no hotglue images" rule would achieve the intended purpose of the rule (stopping hotglue threads) without giving shitposters more ammo.

Thread IDs clearly aren't what you think they are. They're a code beside a post, unique to each ip, which varies from thread to thread. You're still anonymous, but it becomes much harder to samefag a thread.

You don't see separate generals for all the different Gundam shows, you just get a Gunpla General. Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Ultraman (and all the different shows in those franchises) are lumped into a Toku General. There's no reason not to assume that statueshit would be lumped into one or two generals as well - call it "Scale Figure General" or something.

I really want some text spoilers. I know this board isn't for discussion of media, but inevitably with every new movie or show someone wants to ask if/when [spoiler:lit]blank[/spoiler:lit] will get a figure. It gets hard to discuss certain toys for new media without dancing around trying not to reveal plot points.

Also, I know the Danger Ranger is more of a /co/ thing, but it'd also work for /toy/
