Bandai Model Kit 1:72 scale for 25$
Grey plastic, doesn't need glue and doesn't need paint if you are not into model kits. Modelers only give it shading or paint the grey parts sandblue if they want the TESB/ROTJ color version.
http://www.dalong.net/review/etc/sw06/sw06_p.htmThe pics at the very bottom are of the unpainted kit. Bandai is extremely good quality and could play double duty as toy to mess around with but not too excessively with tiny, thin stick parts which would only be the removable laser blasts on the TIE.
Revell Easy Kit 1:65 (or 1:57, revell is fucking terrible with scales)
Sandblue plastic, only exists pre-painted as far as I know but don't count on it, doesn't need glue.
http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/Revell/Rev_SW_Imperial_Tie_Fighter/Rev_Tie_Fighter.htmlPrimarily designed as a childrens toy so it can take a beating. Bigger than the Bandai kit but also more expensive and probably hard to get due to production stop.
Revell 1:110 Model kit 6€ to 15€
http://www.toy-palace.com/en/revell-easykit-modellbausatz-1-110-tie-fighter-9-cm.htmlEasy Kit version in that bag package is pre-painted but that version is out of production.
Current releases come in red boxes with TFA logos and need paint and glue. I guess it's not too hard but without they are solid sand blue, no black. The smallest version if you don't count Micro Machines.
AMT TIE Fighter / just got re-released as Revell Master Series 1:48 Model Kit
http://www.revell.de/produkte/star-wars/star-wars-master-series/id/15092.htmlThe Biggest TIE currently available but needs painting experience and glue.
Bonus Round:
Hasbros Micro Machine Blind Bags are a nice sandblue albeit in a tiny scale for you. Series 4 or 3 and 1 has TIEs, they are extremely easy to spot because their bags are far thicker than those of other models. In Series 1 you could mistake it for a First Order TIE though.
