Ninjago villains are amazing, I loved the stone warriors but these snake ones with their armor are quite awesome!

Nexo Knights has been great for me as well mainly for the villains too, army building both waves.

Stickers peeling off making it plain tiles. Lining it up just perfect or trigger my autism every time I see it. bubbles. The sticker aging and peeling off. My Insectoid resource minerals had magnetic stickers. I'll never see those stickers again and I'm left with an incomplete brick.

How have the Lego Batman minifigs been to feel up? Was just able to order Glam Metal and Lobster Lovin' Batmen off ebay for RRP +99p packaging which was pretty good value.

On the first day you got a chance (!) to get him if you bought something for a certain amount. Many people thought this was stupid. I think there are only 125 lesters out there so he's extremely expensive.
Apparently this was because lego didn't have anymore black hats in that style (which sounds like pr bullshit)

So I'm trying to compile a list of cyberpunk vehicles. This is what I have so far. Any suggestions?

I know some people say the entire ultra agents line would fit this list but most of those sets are just ultra techy boarding on superheroes/James bond, not high tech low life/mega city.

I ordered this guy and he came in about 2 weeks, looks good, and being chrome he doesnt have that weird glossy sheen some others have, only problem is the top of the lightsaber piece (where a stud would fit) isnt chromed apart from that hes a great stand in for a fraction of the price

There are a lot of minor differences with boba fett between this version and the one from the carbon freeze chamber to reflect the changes in his costume between episode V and VI. I'm surprised lego even cared enough and didn't just reuse the old one.
Though i agree, the hands look a bit weird

Is anyone here having issues with chipped edges in brand new sets? I got back into Lego a few years ago and eventually gathered enough to where they started getting dirty. I looked up ways to clean them online and a lot of people said put them in the washing machine. I did and then examined them to find chipped edges. I thought they didn't have any before I washed them like that, but I bought new sets and decided to examine them as soon as I opened the package. These unwashed, new sets had chipped edges and so far all the new sets I've bought regardless of theme have had the same problem.

Serious question, why does the DC superheroes theme get nothing but bizarre vehicles that have no real basis, but never actual structures, but Marvel gets things like the Daily Bugle or the bridge battle. It's not like DC is lacking in locations. Fortress of Solitude, Wayne Manor, Oa, Daily Planet, Lexcorp tower etc.

Because there's no material to shill from. The Lego Batman movie is the only DC movie with buildable locations. Snyder's universe is so bleak and boring that none of the locations are memorable.

Maybe Lego will make sets for Young Justice when season 3 airs. Otherwise I don't see us getting any sort of DC base soon. The Watchtower would make a awesome set to rival the Death Star. Or just something as simple as Green Arrow's safe house

Because the round head projectile was too wide. You can make much better designs when the projectile isn't wider than the cannon itself, so they made a new design to match the canon width (2 studs wide).

Originally wanted to build four mechs based on the hulkbuster build for the four main characters. Each was supposed to be grey + the main colour of it's pilot. Only ever finished this one though.

Because ryo is an engineer i thought a bulkier mech with detachable tools on his arms would fit his character quite well

Local walmart had the scuttler for $74.88, a nice $5 off MSRP, and a full $20 less than the TRU tax. Fun build, lots of 2017 pieces (including the 1x1 corner snot brick), and it kinda looks like a Zoid!

They had most of the other new sets too, but I wasn't interested in going broke. Probably similar less-than-suggested-retail prices, though. I'll be back for Catwoman chase.

I got them at "Baumarkt", which is a german hardware store (not sure if that's the right expression, basically a store with supplies for home improvement). I've heard of Americans finding these things at Walmart (I think), but since we don't have Walmart here I had to find an alternative.

If you're not sure where to get them, try finding a store which sells them in your area, since shipping them can be fairly expensive.

Everybody loves Purple. It's basically a color of villains, supernatural monsters/alien monsters or other badass things.
This is the first time i see people think that purple can be for girls only.

But obviously Lego cant use purple all the time because as i mentioned - its a very specific color. There literally no such color in City themes for example because purple don fit into everyday life.
Yet there are tons of purple in evil Crow sets from Chima or current villains of Nexo Knights or those Mixel-monsters.

So this time its not Patriarchy that made it disappear.
Its a logic of color use.

I've been trying to restore the color on my XL gray baseplates. These were sitting in the sun and hydrogen peroxide for a day before it rained and diluted my 3% hydrogen peroxide. I let them sit in that for another day, but the progress hasn't been noticeable. They are much cleaner than they were when I got them, but what should I do about the color? Another hydrogen peroxide bath? Oxiclean?

The picture has the middle one upside down so you can see the ideal color.

I dont like exclusively white color too - too rare to make non clusterfuck build.

I guess i can build it myself with Mixels joints and some wheels.
I just didnt came up with idea of rollerblades-legs for a mech that would fit to something like that.

My family got this game a few years ago.

My mom spoils my nephews (her grandsons) not making them pay fucking attention and play by the goddamn rules.

So it pisses me off when we try to play with them because they just put some mostly random shit together and then we play 20-Questions to try and figure it out. They choose extra-hard ones and don't even know what they're called, so even if you guess right they can't fucking tell.

Plus they keep building shit when it's not their turn, so you might not have pieces you need for your turn.

Goddamn I fucking hate children.

Plus, when building in LDD, you don't have to deal with autism-induced part-checking so you can see just how shitty the color matching is in THIS set because Lego has zero quality control now.

it looks like target (and walmart) also seem to be putting older sets on lower prices, but not marking it as a sale as well, so if some can be found in store that ARNT clearance, they can be price matched for close/the same prices

there were a few more sets that i just didnt want, like a couple angry birds ones, a ninjago tank, and jestros evil mobile
