>>6123855>Not all diecast is used on joints thoughI wasn't saying that. What I did say was for a joint in a toy it's awful and I'm brave enough to say no one in this thread was saying anything else.
>Die cast can be used to balance a top heavy figureThat's not a good sign for the toy because that means something either went wrong with the toy's design or it was cheaper to counter balance with a cheap metal then to actually make the toy well balanced.
>Just because some idiots use it in load bearing joints, doesn't mean its automatically a shit material. It's how it's used. Much like rubber tires bigger than a dime or chrome on AB type plastics it's just that most toys use it badly.
>POM in between diecast parts can make for beautifully silky joints that don't disintegrate overtime and yet provides a heft to balance the figure. But at that point it's just flashy show and it will still disintegrate overtime, Diecast isn't a great metal, I mean in it's normal creation and environment it has high risk of Zinc pest which means much like gps it's going to break without wear needed. But that's most mix materials. Also "heft" is why Asian markets at large gobble up diecast stuff, many knock offs there even use it. I'm not sure "it's heavy" is really a good argument for using the metal.
>but don't go around disdaining the material on the whole when you don't even know its full list of pros I'm not sure why you thought that happen, I'm fairly certain the issue was joints and joints alone.
>and just parade around it like its the third reichYou can always tell how underage someone is but what and how quickly they will compare criticism or debate to Nazis.
