>>6127555 CS series was a short lived collector's line of high quality props. CSM is modified DX belts that are designed for show accuracy, updated features, and a much more affordable price. CS is the "definitive" belt for things like Rider 1 and Kuuga, but CSM handles many of the current Heisei stuff.
As an example of updated features, the Decadriver has sounds and cards for some post-Decade riders. It also has a button to play 2 different bgm pieces at the bottom of the buckle. The Faizgear has an updated set of tools and expanded sounds.
That's not to say they're perfect. When doing the W gaia memories they initially forgot to put a metal color on the usb bottoms. Decadriver doesn't have any ability for future rider expansion so it was out of date already when it shipped. But if you're looking for any of these items (plus a potential Black belt), I'd strongly suggest going in at this level if you want more than just a toy.

Ex-Aid's though... I think a Pac-Man Gashat armor needs a lot more than just a Gekitotsu Robots repaint with two fists. That just barely fits into what Pac-Man as a game is about. When I first saw the design, I thought it was some construction game.
It really needs a whole new design, one that either uses Pac-men as hands themselves or a Pac-Man on the chest to chomp down enemies and Power-ups.

>>6139662 SIC KTs are quite small and don't really scale with anything but themselves. And you wouldn't really want to buy the other SIC KT Garo figures, as they weren't really good.
Dan I heard was alright though. I think the primary reason why people bought that particular figure was because Bandai was sitting on their asses for years to release a proper Makai Kadou Dan.
Garo stuff tends to be kinda expensive, unfortunately. The Figuarts aren't too badly priced (5000-7000yen) but it's very limited in selection in comparison to Makai Kadou. The Kouga!Garo mold and Zero are outdated at this point, and Bandai plans on releasing SHFSS Kouga!Garo so you're better off waiting for that one.
Ryuga and Leon are good molds, although Leon is a bit naked in terms of accessories (which is my biggest gripe about him, Ryuga I adore however). Don't know about Figuarts GnT Garo but I wouldn't be surprised if you don't want him.
Makai Kadou makes it up for sheer selection alone (including horsies), but they're significantly more pricier for the average figure as many are web exclusives and are naturally more expensive. If you were to consider this line, get the more modern releases.

Anonymous
>>6143543 Even without Jam, Gaim got in Figuarts:
>~12 Riders >4 alt form of Main Rider >5 alt forms of Extra Riders >2 Bikes 23 Figuarts.
What I imagine Figuarts would do for Ex-aid:
>7 of Ex-Aid: Lvls 2, 3, 5, 20 (Blue side), 20 (Orange side), 99 & Final >3 of Brave: Lvls 2, 3 & 50 >3 of Snipe: Lvls 2, 3 & 50 >2 of Lazer: Lvls 2 & 3 >3 of Genm: Lvls 2, 3 & 10 >2 of Para-DX: Lvl 50 Puzzle & Lvl 50 Fighter 20 Figuarts. Even when you compare basic Rider forms, that's 7 Riders if you include both sides of Para-DX.
What stopped Gaim was that it had too much. What stopped Ghost was the show being shit. Drive's late to posthumous rise in popularity even got it to receive Figuarts to this day.
Overall, Ex-Aid is definitely completable. It has much less ground to cover than Gaim, the show is no where near as shit as Ghost (so far), and fans seems to like it. To think both sides of Para-DX won't happen is a bit of an absurd claim. Bandai seems to be slow in releasing Rider figuarts, but these days they have too much on their plate to produce.

Drive I think was better planned. It wasn't that Tridoron wasn't going to be made but that they knew people would get it even this late. They did some weird things like Super Dead Heat instead of Dark Drive or Miracle and no Brain/Medic but otherwise it was paced well with room for the initial Ghost launch. He is not stuck in longass production queue like Gaim Riders and their forms were. He isn't a bad-looking mook Rider that only existed to be a plot device. Gaim only got so many releases because the show was massively popular and they had so many riders to milk, but even then Ryuga and the bikes shelfwarmed hard. Ex-Aid has half the amount of riders in it and it also has the problem of coming out after Ghost, a show whose Figuarts line is haunting the bargain bins of Japan, so they'll be gunshy to go as go in as much as that again.

>>6144077 For Wizard it was partially there fault, though. I remember so many people being upset when it was revealed Wizard looked like shit. It was the one thing people were looking forward to about Wizard and they fucked it up.
Also, despite recent hardships, Tamashii Nations have been good about 2 things: Producing in show Riders main forms and the most powerful forms of Extra Riders that appeared in the show. They have only broken the first rule twice by not making Mage or Jam.
So really, I don't know why people are being so buttfrustrated and cycnical about the whole thing. The lvl50s of Brave and Snipe are a shoe-in. Really, going by past seasons those forms are the least of your worries. Ex-Aid is popular enough to have the usual seasonal releases:
>Ex-Aid: 2, both 20s, 99, Final >Brave: 2, 50 >Snipe: 2, 50 >Lazer: 2, 3 >Genm: 2, 10 >Para-DX: both sides of Lvl50 Everything else depends on popularity. Speaking of, Lazer has been very popular despite dying 12 episodes in. JP twitter got so upset over his death that the actor had to respond and he got a big applause when he came in for that recent live show. I say Lvl3 is guaranteed. Hell, I fully expect a comeback V-Cinema like with Heart.

Plus i could see them easily tying in a V-Cinema for him since he did so much backround stuff and him getting some bootleg level 50. Speaking of, anyone know which release comes with the Proto-Bakusou Bike?

I just saw a double feature this weekend of the Ultraman X and Ginga movies. Is ultraman x to new to have an ultra act or SH figuart yet? I'm digging his show on crunchyroll now and kinda want to get a quality figure of him.

>>6144873 Can't translate, but just looking at the images show that he is going to have an extra helmet with the eyes lit up to have him do finishers. It's not a light up photoshop effect like that one image of an SHFSS Kuuga I remember seeing once before. If you look closely, you can tell that the "lit up" helmet just has white paint applied over the dots of his visor. The small imperfections in the application give it away.
It's pretty ingenious. It works so well because of how the visor's dark blue contrasts with the white paint. You couldn't really do that on eyes/visors with warmer colors like most Rider have.
Anonymous
>>6144908 >>6144909 Ah....I somehow feel a little disappointed. I was really hoping for some ingenious LED setup. Oh well, this works too and I'm glad we're getting anything to represent the lit visor at all.
Anonymous
>>6144999 Accel would probably work well with the wireless LED stuff but that's probably out of the question for Shinkocchu Seihou
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>6145003 My thought was that they could design a special neck for him--a big clear balljoint that houses an LED within. Sort of like NECA Isaac, or SIC Stronger. Then the wiring and batteries could be easily concealed inside his chest cavity. This setup would also work ok because Accel doesn't really need a base of the neck joint--it would be limited as hell anyway with that collar.

>>6144999 LED gimmicks have no place on figure of this size. Same for "seamless" rubber bodies. It just messes with the longevity of both the feature and the figure. Tamashii Nations' experimental projects are neat, but should be kept to them just havinf stretching their legs rather than pushing the product.
