As a minifigure set Mega Bloks have really become a fun system. For building, less so, but they still have occasionally nice looking builds.

Nowadays that's not even that bad. I'd be happy to get Megabloks as a gift. They've really stepped it up, it's not the shitshow it was back in the 90s.

The Halo and Destiny Megablok are pretty sweet imo, especially the vehicles. Tbh the halo minifigs are the best.

Yeah. I got a set where the container was a rocket with an actual capsule that the minifig could sit in. The body of the rocket was just a hollow tube you could fill with bricks to carry around. And they had some other space themed sets I had as a kid in the 90's.

PR/Super sentai may not be my thing outside of Akibaranger but as a 6-ish year old Abaranger/Dino Thunder had some cool designs. Toys are toys on Christmas, so long as they don't have lead paint I appreciated them even as a shitbag of a kid.

Mega blocks are = to Levi's. Lego has better painting and brick quality. Mega blocks has better figure sculpts and articulation

Me too ... I rarely got a new toy as a kid ... If I did it was usually reduced .. But I had some damn fine sets from yard sales ..... I had the transforming city for a buck ... And all those star wars toys that are worth a fortune now ... I don't think that happens much now people put it up on ebay
