With the exception of the Fallen, all his kills were pretty much part of his Bayverse development, not his G1 development. In the first movie he could barely hold his own against Megatron. In the second he was pushed to the limit and went all out against big guys like Grindor, and then died despite his efforts. In DOTM he went fucknuggets over the Decepticons because of Sentinel betraying him and the Autobot cause long before they arrived on earth, and it was his fault that Sentinel murdered thousands that day.
He doesn't bathe in the blood of his enemies, he aims for most, he aims for the head for the quickest kill possible and mostly out of anger issues. He may not be G1 Optimus but he still carries traits that makes him Optimus, albeit a very dark and gritty reimagining.
