>>6161104I have a feeling that long loin piece is actually going to be soft good this time around. The Wave 1 version was soft plastic, which had all the details and folds sculpted right into it. But the new ones look flat and stiff, with no detailed creases or designs or anything. Which is exactly what the capes look like.
There's also a chance some of the deluxe figures may have a long cloth skirt piece as well. The Elf Queen concept art has her wearing a long skirt piece that wraps around the hips. Seeing as how they want to limit how much articulation is hampered, I can see them using cloth to make that piece work.
>>6161268>complains about leather armor>wants to make Xenau wot m8? If anything, you WANT the figure to have the leather goods because Xena's armor was mostly leather. Hell, Freyia's build is more or less exactly what you would need from this line to make your own Xena, just paint her armor black and gold and mod a tassle belt from wave 1 to fit her...ignoring the need for a new head anyway.
>>6161275It's an apples and oranges thing, and can't see one replacing the other. As much as I enjoy Revoltechs, they can be a chore to mess with at times. And as you said, there probably won't be a lot of variety of knights. With ML they're solid figures (paint on the barbarians not withstanding) and there's just buttloads of em to choose from. This wave alone has an absurd amount of variety, to the point where it's getting hard to cherry pick my favorites.
>>6161373It can indeed be removed. It's the same spike that came with Skapular originally. It also fits on the Armet.
