Two coworkers were having a discussion about a poster for the current exhibition and what colour it was. "Dude it's orange!" I'd just generally look up more advanced techniques you can use for your parts at hand. And then look up some inspiration for the vehicle you are going for. The googledoc in the OP might have some links to lego building-techniques.
