IMO the best SHIPs are mostly skeletal, with a small crew section somewhere. less pieces, too. When you just start stacking levels, it's obvious how you built it, and it looks very toylike. your pic is a good example.

There are several sets and catalog images from the 80s-90s that use backwards legs to show someone "kneeling". For some reason it seemed to be more common in the Castle sets.

I've got the rest of this week off; I might make a Flickr account just to enter that spacebike challenge.

And a look at the minifigures included in the set. From left to right we have a Spyrius Astronaut, the Spyrius Chief, and a Spyrius Droid. Fun fact: in the UK the Droid was called "Major Kartofski" and was implied to be the true leader of the Spyrius. Madness.

Lastly, an action pose. Not a highly-articulated set but still fun! The arms have a clever ratcheting gimmick at the shoulders using some Technic parts. Highly recommended for any fan of Lego Space.

anons what do you think about Killer Croc? Should i buy him (from Bricklink) before it is too late?
Will he become an expensive figure? I already spent too much money on lego and wont buy his set.
But damn...this bigfig is my favorite so far. And it will suck if after a year or two i willwant it but it will be too expensive like those Triceratops/T-rex from Dino-series.

somewhere in my collection I have the safe/lockbox, and one astronaut body with the robo head, but I don't know how as I never had any spyrius stuff :/
same goes for a yellow spaceman torso, and a ufo alien torso grey helm black shoulderpads and orange head,
(tfw former dog got it and lft a dent in the torso the head and helm and I think completely fucked the shoulderpads

S-sory anon hes not the klocki-clown guy...i am.
And yeah i got sunk in my job and didnt finish the comic.
i made photos but didnt had time to sort them and build a story
PS:
This year must be the first year when i will actually have some klocki. I went full lego autism and ordered few sets even if i shouldnt because money problem.
But that motivated me to do more job so i wont die. However sinse i got some stuff to do i might actually order more klocki later (thinking about Mammoth Mech from Chima - its on clearance - THATS A LOT OF CLOCKI!)

But dont worry - the whole idea of this clown is that he's the ONLY person in a klocki town who dont have klocki. So even if i will be having more sets later he will be still out of klocki!

Because lego just doesn't make beautifully detailed large printed pieces any more and I don't trust them not to fuck up the new set in some way, so I made my own.

Also fuck the 2017 A-wing for being the only set to have ever used 2x1 curved slopes in dark red and there being literally none for sale on bricklink.

In my hellhole of a town there only 3 lego sets. THEY BEEN HERE FOR A YEAR ALREADY.
1) that Scull-Scorpion bionicle
2) friends set with motorcycle and Orangutan (or some other monkey - the monkey resque set) - the box was here for half a year i think if not more. Its damaged and has some "old" feel to it.
Nobody wants to buy it because its a shitty Friends set and an overpriced lego set.
The boxt literally looks like its been here for ages and ages. And it still has a cost of a mint condition item
3) battle pack - Nexo Knights Ultimate Beast Master - this was the only thing i liked about that shitty store because i wanted beast master.
However it also overpriced. It costs 17$.

I've got a bricklink question:

When I go to upload an LDD file to get the parts list (as opposed to manually searching/adding everything to a wishlist), I run into a problem where it tells me that a certain element isn't available, even though it is. Why is it reading the file like that? Is the only way to get around that to remove the piece from the model in LDD and then add it back in manually in bricklink?

ALSO is there any way to search stores for parts from multiple wishlists at once, or am I fucked

If you can identify the troublesome part though, it shouldn't be too bothersome to add it in manually, assuming it's only two or three.

i posted a rough mock-up of this last thread.
the stud shooters all rotate at the same speed now, 1 revolution for every 1/3 revolution of the input shaft.

something i didn't expect was that the resistance of 3 stud shooters triggering the first stud simultaneously was more than enough to separate multiple bricks and cause the gears to slip. and reduction compounded the issue. that required each gear to be between 2 bricks before it could be driven. however that bulk gives it the weight it needed to be shot with 1 hand.
