while australia can be different at times, we rely on an autostocker program which monitors sales, not does my supermarket use it where i work but i know our tru's do as well.
the response is always the same, it comes when it comes, either store warehouse is slack, the company sending stock is slack, or its low in the prioritory list.
>noticed our hotwheels were low>missing 5 of the supposed 10 on hand, likely thefts>cant force a restock asits low on prioritory list
>get only one carton 2 months later mid way through a salesometimes we get luck and get 2 cartons a week BEFORE a sale, others just a slow response, while staff arent always watching for thefts or stock in general someone will periodically check stock levels.
feel free to ask, most staff palm off questions witha generic retailer response but sometimes bizzare shit happens like the distrobution truck tipping into a lake
