>>6276233Well I'm glad I came here a read some like minded comments.
It's hard to offer criticism on the board because many are so die hard and defensive there. Which I do understand. We are small community of mega fans. I've been a follower of line long before I considered myself a full blown collector.
I've met Matt and he is one of the most down to earth friendliest person I've met in the toy scene.
I understand it's his line and I have utmost respect but I don't know why it went from not being able to afford panel lines one year to full blown body part paint masks so quickly.
I used to regularly drop hundreds per drop and now I MAY bite at one or two if at all.
It's not that I'm tired of the line I still follow it from the sidelines. And I must agree figures are looking better and better as of late... On the SHELF.
I just wanna go back where I carried pocketfuls of these guys constantly swapping parts. These new deluxe paint job figures really don't play lend to nearly as much swap ability. And while I have a massive love for toys of yesteryear the homages are getting out of hand. If I wanna play with MOTU and TMNT I have those figures.
Not tryin to rag on it all but these decisions greatly weigh negatively come drop night at least for me.
Onell and friends will always have my support but let's get some old promises from years and years ago. Bring back the build waves, the solid standards and reverse color molds, the detail lines, and I promise I'll be back chomping at the bit like before
