Or you know, you can pre-order as well. I prefer long pre-order time to hunting in stores. This probably is partly due to not being american, and our stores getting rarely any good stuff at all.

I buy whole wave due to shipping costs anyway, so it really doesn't matter to me. I can see how it sucks for some though.

I love both the threepacks. Hate the fact they being con exclusives, again due to being european. Any other europeans have experience getting hands on power-con exclusives? Do I need to buy insane scalper prizes on ebay?

It's not like they make the toys themselves. They use the same chinese manufacturers as anyone else, and designs still come from Four Horsemen.

The ultimates are re-releases of the most sought out figures of masters of the universe classics line, with extra accessories and slight recolors.

They were made to order, so unless you have an order in already, you will have really hard time getting them (maybe through scalpers or BBTS)

I've been collecting them a little bit here and there. I'm looking forward to what Super7 has to offer and hopefully they can put out that Snake Mountain.

Only one or two of the figures from those three packs really interest me.

They should really do more New Adventures of He-Man stuff, those figures always turn out nice and the cartoon was actually fairly decent despite Skeletor having a cartoony face.

Last year's con items were available for preorder online.

IMO Super7 is making a mistake by not allowing individual figure orders on the Filmation series. When/if they get around to the Horde Trooper or Skeletons it'll be like printing money if they're available individually.

I've never bought any from Hong Kong, but as a rule of thumb, I don't trust anything from China, ever.

Now, I have bought several of these from US sellers from the Loyal Subjects TMNT line.

LS doesn't do codes. Just buy the ones you want on Ebay, they force these things out so much anymore that they don't retain value and usually you can get commons for either retail or cheaper.

I could see spending $13~$14 on these things if you knew what you were getting. But spending that much money with the risk of getting doubles really puts a damper on that impulse buy mentality that so many blind bag/box are based on.

Also, I've heard from the interwebs that the QC on these are spotty with many of them having broken hips or two right legs for instance.

Yeah, I'm going to stick to buying these guys off Ebay. That way I know what I'm getting and it won't be broken. Otherwise, if I want a cheap impulse toy buy at the store, I'm going to pick up a TMNT figure.

Fuck, that Hordak looks great. It's what I had wanted since the MotUC release. {well, minus the shitty standard arms with a band around it that looks like it doesn't fit}
