>>6273215I'm still paying less than $30 for the random NECA figures i buy. I think my Ultimate City Hunter was $25.something with tax. Sucks for you that you pay the I-Live-Inthe-Middle-of-Nowhere tax, but the toys are worth their real price.
Oh, and that extra articulation at the ankle? That would cost like a dollar or two extra. Or nothing at all, given how NECA has been adding more articulation without increasing their prices anyway. Not the $40-50 prices people have been repeating.
>They should work out a standardized systems thats applied to ALL their figures.Dumb.
They're a collector company that puts the accuracy of the sculpt and paint first and foremost. To make it standard without taking into account what they're sculpting is stupid, especially when a figure doesn't need to have as much articulation.
The figures look as great as they do because they're investing more into making it look good and that's what the majority of buyers want. It's what put them in business and gets them continued support every year.
If a character needs more articulation, yeah, I'd love that and would pay more to get it, but a lot of what they produce aren't characters that do crazyass ninja shit.
Probably my only complaint is that almost none of their figures who have guns can shoot them properly, but almost all lines have this problem. Only Takara's Microman and Mezco's One:12 lines have been able to produce figures that can shoot properly.
