>>6242400>plastic swirlsThey keep using shitty metallic plastics, flat colored plastics don't have that problem
>seemsThey have poor seem/sprue placements, and they try to hide that using metallic colored plastic, marvel legends target adult collectors and yet shit like war machine's thigh seems on the front of the leg is the stupidest thing I've seen, you see that shit as soon as you glance at it
>simply mold parts on more sprues to allow for multiple colors of plastic than to paint half the goddamned figure each timeIt would be mold cost, they don't want to make more sprues for more part seperation.
I'm starting to suspect the ONLY FUCKING COMPANY which can do multi injections (as in multiple colors on the ONE sprue) is bandai, pic related on the left (the eyes are straight plastic, one piece, all colors injected together, no need for shitty stickers, let alone multiple parts in wholly separate colors sharing the one sprue usually found on A runners in gundam kits), perhaps bandai has this tech trademark protected preventing what *could* be an amazing cost cutting measure prevented from being used by rivals.
>>6242404>>6242405Its simple, we praise takara's color efforts only because they're manufacturing for *JUST* tiny little japan.
The figures themselves cost money for RnD, paint, building, distribution and worker cost, despite the move to Vietnam it seems it was for nothing, because hasbro has to pump out a higher volume of figures they have to cut cost where possible, therefore using toy accurate deco's (less paint in most cases), shit sprue placement (perhaps to allow ease of work for workers), crowded sprues to save on making molds because that shit breaks after awhile and then just omitting paint even after the lack of color on the figure to begin with just to meet some obscure budget.
The more I look at them the more I feel I NEED to quit the main line and stick to just masterpieces, which have their own issues
