I wonder too. Pity his stuff and McFarlane's in-house toy lines didn't remain popular. Is there a reason for it, like increasing production costs, lack of consumer interest, or the decline of toy stores like Kay-Bee?

I recall being able to walk into TRU and buying a big Spawn figure for 8 or 9 dollars, and I think Winston's figures were maybe 5 dollars more than that. Also miss the days when Gamestop and Electronics Boutique and even Best Buy had figures.

Suncoast, Sam Goodys, Tower Records, etc failing left and right did a HUGE negative effect on collector toys and companies.
Palisades basically died because of their decline.
McFarlane went in another direction by attaining mainstream licenses like Halo, Prince of Persia, etc.

a pity this is dead too because I actually like his sense of design much more than Mcfarlane's in-house original designs. They're a lot less cluttered and a lot more fun for me.

I think this line and most of the monster/creature lines are gone is because the majority of buyers are into toys of people. Hence all the generic looking human figures. Take a look at diamond selects Gotham line. WTF wants that shit?
