>>6253709BBTS: Good customer service, good padding for shipping, properly graded items, "pile of loot" lets you save 180 days worth of stuff to save on shipping and prices are fair for anything locally distributed or western lines. DO NOT USE if buying primarily imports that are normal retail releases.
HLJ: Friendly cancellation policy, good customer service, private warehouse is super flexible/useful in saving you money, EMS is discounted (500-600-ish yen cheaper than standard rates) and prices are now some of the best available because AmiAmi keeps raising prices. Example: SHF Skull was 500 yen higher at AmiAmi last night. DO NOT USE if you care about getting boxes in mint condition, they use minimal padding and sometimes pack things in dumb ways (see: items touching sides/corners of shipping box). You have to PO immediately because "order stop" happens pretty fast compared to AmiAmi.
AmiAmi: Super reliable in fulfilling orders, pre-owned section is pretty great, packs items really well, customer service was iffy but is now getting a bit better lately and still probably the lowest prices on figma. Pre-orders generally stay open much longer and they do a good job restocking stuff with back-orders but as of late they are raising prices on stuff if you don't order early enough. DO NOT USE if you want freedom to cancel orders at will or to combine different months. Also keep a close eye on pricing, they have been doing some shifty stuff so don't assume they are the cheapest option.
Hobby Search: Don't use them often but they are a perfectly serviceable alternative if you need to use them.
Nippon Yassan: They were good at one point but shipping is now overpriced as fuck. The marked postage on your invoice is way lower than what they actually charge you.
Mandarake: Pretty much the best pre-owned store. Much better these days about keeping inventory up to date so you don't end up waiting days to find out it's sold out.
