toy storage

How does /toy/ store their figures?

Whether for moving, for a trip, or just to put away out of site for a while.

I'm thinking of cutting foam around each figure and putting them in a tool box.

I just wrap them with bubble wrap in a plastic storage bin, for storage and moving. If I still have the box, then I just put them in there. Both in the same storage bin.

Taking the time to make foam inserts for loose figures is a good idea though.

For storing and moving, I'll store them back into their boxes. If the box destroyed or not available, I'll put them on ziplock bags, keep small parts in smaller ziplock bags inside, then bubble wrap and put them in a huge plastic container.

For a trip, usually when I'm putting a display on shop or convention, I'll use tackle boxes.
I'll take time to make storage box with foam inserts soon to make it safer to transport them.

Figures go in boxes for moving, accessories are stored in the trays in pic related, and my gunpla supplies go in the top section

are we talking about figures as in action figures?
or like table top miniatures?
not sure whats being asked because of that picture.

if its for action figures and the like, i just use bubble wrap for both transportation and storage.

It shouldn't matter, because art/tackle boxes are pretty boss in holding all figures and keeping everything organized.

I was referring to action figures, 8 to 12 inch or larger.

OP pic was just to show cutting foam to fit a toy. (All other pics I found referred to tool storage, so I wanted something semi-related.)

I also recommend looking around for artist/painter boxes. Since artists are poorfags, you can find some pretty good deals.
I'm thinking of making my own with a laser engraver i have.
