I love this guy's design but I don't Nexo. Instead I think he'd make a great minion for Ultra Agent's Infearno. One of the things really lacking from Ultra Agents was only Toxikita had any underlings. I'm surprised more villains didn't have any since Lego does love to sell battle packs. For the good guys they could add a basic agent.

So I haven't been paying attention lately, but I've got a hankering for a good orange Nexo torso to remix with one of my orange Galaxy Squad guys. Of course, effing Axl and his special snowflake body makes me sick.

Short story long, anyone know if his torso can be disassembled without breaking shit, and if so, does the smaller regular-torso-shaped piece actually have armholes and printing all the way up? It looks like it to me, but I don't want to destroy my only copy of Axl.

The tower has several small to medium sized builds while the bank is one big build. It's just a matter of how you handle some tedium, because the modulars can be tedious to just lay down a lot of bricks

Don't. The amount of toning-down tlg has to do to get a lego movie vehicle into an actual set is absurd. Especially the larger vehicles. Seriously don't even hope to get anything that even closely resembles the vehicles that appear in the movies. It's just not feasible. Shit that appears in the movies are several thousand pieces, pieces in colors that don't exist, and have no need to consider gravity or structural stability. They were built to look awesome, not to translate into 1:1 toys.

Get the Temple if you only want to buy just the one set mostly for display. It is a thing of stupid magnificent beauty.

Buy the Bank if you want to have something more to mess around with and can see yourself getting more big sets in the future because the expert modulars are like diving into the deep end.

Imho buy both. I've already drowned.

It's worse than that - the orange+transgreen had a lot more pop than yellow+clear, but too many parts don't exist in orange and the smaller canopy is only in clear

Did my best editing the photo, but does a part like this exsit?

I want reddish brown on top and white towards the hands. Printing doesn't matter all too much. so long as it isn't super complex.

If it helps it did win me over, though most of them I did get on clearance. I found an awesome deal on Toxikita's helicopter and bought three of the damn things which was all they had on the shelf. Must have been a good deal because I'm seeing bricklink offer a much better deal on the red than direct from Lego. Which does often happen. Lego wants a return on material cost and a profit, bricklink sells based on their own market pressures and an overabundance of the part tends to drive prices down.

Quick question from a Cracklink virgin: when I'm buying somethign using PayPal, am I supposed to use the "Pay for goods" feature or the "Send money" feature? I feel like "Pay" would make more sense, but that would include a fee for the seller. The invoice I got uses the word "send", though. Am I just overthinking this?

Says who? Last I checked, Lego is one of the most successful toy companies in the world. I very much doubt that they need to be stingy with the billions and billions of dollars they have at their disposal.

Just over half way through and this is already my favourite set. It's so huge and detailed. Only thing I don't like is that all the minifigs are classic smiley, would expect a little more for the price tag.

No. Maybe you're just looking at the staff picks or the "popular this week" section, but just scroll through the Discover tab and you'll see that 99% of the submissions is trash that would obviously never be accepted by lego.

Ideas is not a MOC sharing site, it's specifically for submitting ideas for lego sets that you want to be made. If you just want people to see your moc post it to reddit or brickshelf or something.

You ought to use actual gears to the tracks roll as well.
You know, for extra awesomeness. It would also be cool if you could widen the calves to be 3 studs wide instead of 2, then use the same treads as the ones used in the OP image.
Would add extra stability and would be easier to make rolling treads with.

I did try this in earlier prototypes, but doing so would involve sacrificing their functionality as ankles. Personally I'd prefer them to be working and sturdy ankles for more posability, instead of having functional tracks that basically isn't all that important to the moc.

While you're probably right in saying that they'd look better, truth be told, I've already ordered 76 of the small black treads that I need to swap out the brown ones, and I'd rather not let that money go to waste. Those little treads are deceptively expensive in large quantities.

I like both for different reasons, these Lego Batman Movie figs are so bloody good though, they should become the base Batman figs.

Sure their style is a bit quirky and odd, but the detail in them surpasses so many other figs/themes.

The whole build got misaligned for some reason. I couldn't fit a 2x4 inside the hull span and other bricks wouldn't fit where they obviously would fit because LDD decided the bricks were now chinese knockoffs.

If i wanted to fix it i pretty much had to dismantle the whole thing and rebuild it.

so if i had to do that then i might as well do something different.

I put some of my new hoverklocki to work this week and made a pair of red vehicles. The only thing I knew when I started making the car was that I wanted to use that curved quarter-circle brick as an air scoop. The round protrusion at the back end was a spur of the moment decision but I love the shape.

The Sky Pirate vehicles should have an element of clusterfuck to them. It's kind of their thing. I've got a bunch of parts sitting in my cart to do mods to the Raid Zeppelin that I still haven't bought. Now I'm thinking it'll need a helipad for that sweet little autogyro coming from the Batman Movie line. It just screams "Sky Pirate". I'm a Star Wars Stan. I enjoy sets from the original trilogy 4/5/6. I noticed these rogue one sets out and they look like they fit into the ones I collect. Its modular as in each build has several parts that can shuffle about so you can have a wide house or a tall one, or even stack in weird ways!

Its like you will have a living room. kitchen, bathroom bedroom and 2 roof parts. You can put them all together in different shapes!

Just got to say this castle is pretty amazing, and it ties in nicely to the background information that 100 years ago Knighton was just another Castle Kingdom. It would make sense that they upgraded their older existing castles!
