Ordered the Black Series OT Chewbacca and they sent me TFA version. I don't care about the new movies, but Chewie still looks decent. Anyone have comparison pics between the two versions? I'm considering keeping the figure

I'd send it back.

The TFA version is a complete step down in terms of quality in my opinion.

Wow, that was fast. Mine has better paint on the fur, looks like it had a decent wash. I think I'll keep it for more neutral poses, but I still want the original to put next to Han firing his bowcaster. Thanks a ton for the pic, mang

It was pretty cheap, I'll buy another and hope they send the right one this time. I guess I was lucky in that mine has much better paint, less plasticky-looking than the one in the pic above

I'm tempted to get the TFA version just for customizing. I'd like to try adding my own wash on the lighter fur sections and maybe paint the bandolier/bag a darker brown.

I like the Mafex and SHF Rogue One troopers for different reasons.
The SHF is way more poseable but I like the height of the Mafex. I like both of the helmet sculpts so it's tough to pick a favourite based on that.
The Revoltech is annoying to pose and too lanky, but I keep him around cause he was my first import Stormtrooper figure.
Overall I'd have to give it to the figuarts.

(I actually have 4 rogue one troopers but as you can see I've run out of shelf space)

Damn, I've been avoiding all SW 6 inch figures since they started but might be down the rabbit hole with this one. Thrawn has always been a favorite of mine and those are great accessories.
