I was looking to evoke an 80s look which is whats up with the color and grain but if you notice I always zap the color down a bit and add a bit of grain and vignette---- I do this because (to me) it makes it look like something you'd see on a movie screen. I mean, look at this
>>6305069>Focus is simply not goodThe actual image is huge. What I end up posting here are oversized but compressed images. Not as big as the original but still too big to keep it sharp because they're optimized for Instagram. Its kinda like the whole "zoom in and loose clarity" point you guys were making earlier.
Before anyone starts I don't resize because frankly I'm too lazy
Also, I mostly shoot with a wide aperture which gives the pictures a softer look. I do this because I want to loose the background. I don't do the whole ACBA "everything in an alley" look so if the picture isn't obviously taken outside it means the background is something in the room.

> he should be able to take some criticism.I do, but to be fair I take most of my criticism from specific people. There are far better people than me on Instagram and Flickr that I admire but unless I'm impressed (which is often) I take most comments with a grain of salt.
