I used to buy neca and mezco stuff but i got tired of the rise in prices and i got tired of lack of quality.
The neca terminator robots would literally break as soon as you tried to bend them. Their alien figures always came with broken tails and broken feet.
Older mezco toys are sticky and gooey to the touch. Prices ate too high.
Funko pops are great small cheap figures of my favorite chatacters and they look great on my desk. Theres an elegance in their simplistic small featureless design.
People hate the faces but i actually love them. They remind me of chibi drawings and i like that a lot. Some people actually think funko pops are japanese toys, they resemble anime toys a little bit.
People shit on funko pops but to me they are a really great cheap collectible.
Their horror line is amazing. I love how cute leatherface and jason Voorhees look on my desk. Makes people laugh to see them
