This doesn't include the alternate heads(that delphina comes with ) as it was written before it reached that goal i think.

For the most part you miss out on some generic swords and spears on most of the stretch goal weapons.

only reason id say no, is because the 2.0 slim bodies aren't compatible with the 1.0-.1.75 bulky bodies.

Other then that, delphinia comes with an extra head you can slap on your iron knight, so go for it.

The 4HM store has pretty terrible service unless you're from the US or Canada, which sort of soured me on trying to order from them. The shipping rates are insane which makes the figures more expensive than a high-end Japanese figure.

I feel like Xylona's gonna be disappointing as shit, but I ordered her anyway just as precaution in case she came out awesome.

That neck is too long without articulation, she kinda looks like a giraffe without neck articulation

Also her furless textureless white milk body sucks

Finally we have to trust the 4H on properly recasting and reducing the size of that massive head. Last time I trusted the 4H I got one sided painted Skapular, Baron Volligar without red paint in his eyes, and shitty QC all around (floppy legs & waists) from 1.75 wave

I only pledged for the legion builders & skellies 4pack, as they're pretty cheap and pretty risk free since there's not that many paint to peel off and I can easily flip them on ebay for decent margin compared to named characters. The only exception I pledged is the deluxe knight builder.

I added Xylona and Morgolyth to the preorder because they're pretty unique I guess as an impulse buy.

Unfamiliar with this line as a whole aside from seeing some of the older 4HM stuff like their bird dudes.

Not crazy about knights and shit but I think B'alam looks awesome, there isnt enough beastmen figures in the world.

I was like you, i tested the water with one figure, immediately fell in love with it, and now i've preordered a ton this time around.

As for quality, other than some variance in the pant app from figure to figure, or some minor paint chipping near the shoulder joint in 1.0 figures, they are top notch. The shortest i could put it, is that they don't feel cheap.

1,0 did not have the best articulation, you could get creative, but the more armor you added on, the more bulky the figure got, plus most of them were knights anyways, you weren't going to get anything to dynamic.

2.0 has the new slim bodies, and articulation looks like it might be improving, but not telling yet until they get here.

That's a pretty huge over-exaggeration there's like two actual black people in the entire line. Everyone seems to like Otho and they gave Gadriel an armored head anyways.

And then when people bitched about muh elves the made a white head and an armored green head.

These aren't supposed to be "real" templars anyways the red cross templar motif is basically a standard fantasy design motif at this point.

The problem I had with the "black" elf head was the fact that there were no other "black" elves in the set. I really didn't want Lord Byron to be surrounded by a bunch of "black" elves. He would have looked like a plantation owner from the south.

Yeah that's probably the worst part of the comic for me, what is actually a genuinely good character design is wasted on that book.

Jane Foster Thor is also getting a single packed release as part of the Thor Ragnarok wave, too. There might be slight differences between the figures, though.

There's a joint there I ended up just drilling up there and shoving the tail piece in and it works okay more or less.

Paying 3x the normal price is the norm in this line so I'm fine with it with Scarabus.

The colors are a little off of their initial paint mockup, be warned. The trim is more orangey than straight gold, and the cloth is a slightly teal-er blue. But if the pics already looked like that then look forward to a sweet knight to mess with changing all the parts out. I want a knight builder from the rerelease

That happened with one of my 3a robots. It fell underneath my monitor for the day and the heat silly puttied the wrist joint.
It's not something i usually watch for when i know a figure is made of durable stuff.

I bought it from Ebay and the previous owner didn't even know he had a tail. It was broken in the package during transit.

I got 20 dollars back so no real loss. Just drilled the excess parts, pledged the tail and shoved it back in there.

BBTS customer support has always been good to me. I suspect the horror stories you heard are bullshit made up by the anti-BBTS haters out there who have an axe to grind against the store. BBTS has done some seedy stuff in the past in terms of exclusivity arrangements and trying to strong arm companies but they have ALWAYS been fantastic on the consumer/collector end of things.

I never bothered with Atlus, and I completely understand the mold fatigue with the line as I chose to cherry pick certain figures to try and stave that feeling off. Having different builds and characters with unique heads helps somewhat. And the Not-He-Man hits both of those marks for me, having a head I don't have in my collection while having a build combo that I haven't seen before.

Also, these aren't even the first MotU homages they've made, last time they made the Orc version of Man-At-Arms. He works just fine as both a member of the Orcish horde while still being a very blatant homage, so these two were more or less inevitable.

The whole talk about "canon" is silly anyway. Most major characters just have repainted generic heads, even supposedly important characters like Gorgo, Blood Knight, and Black Vampire Knight.

In reality it is absolutely silly to think that Gorgo would have the same head as generic Sentinel Guardian who also happen to share the same head as blood Knight.

A lot of 2nd tier characters like Owain, Galeron, Godfrey etc are also just solid helmet face and repaints. I doubt the 4H gonna continue to make the IP into legitimate story, it's gonna be toy first and foremost where you just fill in the blanks with the lore

Yeah i'm all about the skeletons in ML, I'm sad that Clavian isnt offered in this sale. Was looking forward to him and Scaphiod the most.

But scapular, while i don't really like his headsculpt helmet thing, i think he's really unique compared to the rest of the skeletons in the ML line, and is a must have for collecting.

I was mainly hoping for an Unkann and was planning to get a Silverhorn Sentry just to make the shipping worth it. I get them both in my cart, get to check out, hit some lag but manage to get through to the confirmation page...just in time to notice that Unkann is gone and all I got was a Sentry.

What are people hoping to see at SDCC? I'd love some more of the leader class gods like Eathyron and Xylona - they've teased Aethyr now for a while.

Also need Mounts and hopefully some more Templar types, only got two legion builders, but Godfrey and Delphina will join them soon!

Hagnon has three heads and good gear but I am not into clear stuff. Another normal painted skeleton knight would be great, though.

Top of my wish-list, new Orc Legion Builder. Packed with both heads (with unique white paint markings), bare torso, spiked and leather faulds, scale loin and dark brownish/black armor. Give him Orc sword, axe and a banner with the emblem from Urzokk at the $22 pricepoint.

Other figures I would love to see:

Northern Hero - Bearded half-helm, cloth torso with a checkered pattern, similar to a brigandine, with black armor with gold trim and highlights.

Leodyssian Sentinel - Vitus' head on the tabard body/loin armor, large collar, small pauldrons, round faulds with full plate limbs. Torso and loin bits would be red, along with the helmet fringe and the armor/helmet would be gold with red accents.

Arethyr Knight - Legion Builder with dark purple armor, bucket helm, dragon topper, spiked pauldrons and squared faulds, basic armor, long loin armor and bone neck piece (similar to Gorgo). More soldiers for the Legion, former knights who gave their souls to Arethyr for power.

Dwarven Brute - Full Dwarf Helm, short horns, large pauldrons, bare arms, leather belt with short loin armor. Armor would be a dark cobalt blue with copper tints, gloves/pauldrons would be full copper.

These are the best ideas off the top of my head for new figures without new parts.

Yeah the range of motion of the hips isn't the problem they move fine. Even my Figuarts Shoretrooper with all the fancy hidden joints and pull-down ball struts doesn't get as much because of the design/sculpt itself.

It's more the looseness that's the issue.

So the way it works for FH shipping.

your order the item, they sort all the orders out, that takes a week.
Then they print out all the labels and organize all the stock for shipping
Then you get your order shipped depending on what # your order was received.

They can only ship out 50 or so packages a day i read on there facebook last time they had a store sale.

So it's just how quickly you ordered. In short you'll be lucky to get it before next week.

I forgot where it was mentioned, but they said the looseness came from the decision to not add the soft detentes found in other joints to the hip disc thinking they wouldn't need them. At first the joints will start off tight, but over time they will loosen, some much worse then others. While it can be fixed with pledge, it's a bit of a pain because the worst joint is the disc itself which is inserted into the top of the thigh and isn't something you can really remove easily. Thus it's hard to get the pledge where it needs to be.

They claimed that with the 2.0 molds, they won't make the same mistake and will give them the same soft clickiness found in the elbows and shoulder joints.

I did, however, get my order in from the BST today. Got 2 Orc legion builders for 60 shipped. Super neat figures but their hands fall out pretty easily, which is sort of annoying. These are probably going to be the only green male orcs I'm able to get.
