Bandai dont make villains in general.
Japanese dont like evil doers, which is why almost every single collector line makes good guys only.

Only time they make villains is when the series is popular in the US, but since they can't release the Marvel toys officially in the US, shit doesn't get made.

I wouldn't have guessed villains aren't popular...they seem fond enough of Sephiroth, Darth Vader and Char. It's true that many lines seem to only make heroes though, I think I can count all the 'villainous' figma on my hands...

There's like over a dozen movies, but only Loki and Red Skull gave a lasting impression. They've been building up Thanos for years, so it'll be funny when he turns out to be the most generic piece of shit. The DC movies may not be as good, but at least you remember and appreciate the villains after the closing credits.

It really says a lot that the Captain America films are regarded as the better ones. I don't think he's ever really had an amazing comic run it's like no writer knows what to do with him.

You mean Thanos? He actually had an arc when Starlin wrote him. Giffen too. It's only recently that he's regressed into generic space bad guy (and occasional jobber) still obsessed with the Infinity Gems for no reason. And don't get me started on his Mary Sue Deviantart OC son, Thane.
