No but SDCC isn't a Bandai event. Am talking about events held by Bandai on their own. Every past Tamashii Nations exclusives became web exclusives.

The body looks the same. I think they shrunk his head a bit but I am not sure. The new paint job, more animated facial expressions, the better applicated symbol on his gi brings this figure WAY ahead of what it used to be.

This here looks like I a stuffed corpse of kid Goku. Blank smile, corpse colored skin, and a dull gi.

When a staff came by he tallied who wanted Goku to make an estimate. When i was in front of the shop, i saw Mazinger sold out and the staff taping sold out on Athena. By the time I got on line, I see 2 cases worth stillof goku, but that's a low number. They also had another shop preselling Xenoverse Trunks, TP, megazord, the two Street Fighters. All in all, I am reserved about being too optimistic for the display only. Really want kid Goku personally. They had a survey as usual. DB heavy gauging what you want.

Torsos are usually out if the question for Figuarts however. It's the core of Tamashii Nations' engineering, and they probably feel torso option parts and gimmicks there would mess with the integrity of the engineering there. That's why we didn't get half body swapping for W, combo changing for OOO, Arms changing for Gaim, and Leveling Up for Ex-Aid now.

The regular release was a webshop exclusive, and the other one wasa con exclusive.

They're not gonna re-release either of them, and the likelihood of them doing another color variation, a 2.0 version, base SS or SS3 are quite slim.

The only actual solutions to shit like this is to just not do con exclusives. Just release the shit like any other normal fucking toy. These people aren't going to be able to pick out scalpers, and scalping fucks will just recruit other people once employee faces for their businesses become known anyway.

It's lose/lose as long as shit remains con exclusive. Similar thing happened with a BW Megatron exclusive last year, bunch of scalping fucks bought them all out before anyone had a chance to grab any and had them online for retarded amounts within a couple hours.

Agreed. They could justify selling the Kaioken Goku recolor as a con exclusive if they hadn't also made Frieza Saga Mexi-Goku one. The latter should've been the first base form Goku they release.

Literally all it would take is a few months or less to totally choke them out of the market and make it so the problem goes away permanently.
