Just because I'm sure somebody will find it interesting, I opened 20 of the bags. 3 corn man, 1 butterfly girl, 2 dwarfs, 2 bakers, 2 cellphone man, 2 rocket boy, 2 retro space hero man, 1 elf, 2 surfers, 2 French man, and 1 vet and bunny. Ninjago sets though, wtf is with the green dragon? It doesn't look anything like the dragon on the trailers etc, the boat is average and probably the only buy there besides spinjitsu which is literally for the minifigs..
Also where is the Garmadons mass Shark? I saw a D2C on brickset, so I am assuming it's not leaked yet, but after seeing that dragon I just lost alot of hope..

Do Lego do this often.. drop the ball I mean and make absoloute trash sets for an entire year? All these colours look so shit.. I guess I will save a bucket load of cash, thanks Lego

Also I built that elves dragon. It's a really nice and endearing build, great mix of molded pieces and brick building. Really pro set.

I think it's a problem with licensed stuff in general. Everything is based on something else instead of an original idea where they're free to design it from the ground up. They're in a box and told they can only work with that vehicle or place from the start.

Wow, this Ninjago movie might be one of the all around best themes I've seen in a long time.

It's got some fun ideas, feels somewhat like good ol' Orient Expedition, has a 11/10 Boat set. Even the smaller weak sets have some good ones (The Ninja training one and the bridge one.)

Really impressed with these. If only other themes could be this good.

Never, ever thought I'd say that about Ninjago.

it's the con of having to work within a vacuum. While both sides of the capedom have had bad sets DC/WB has always been a tight ass about what does and doesn't get made. Basically getting anything made that isn't promoting a movie or game is pulling teeth on the developers part.
If you want a interesting story read up on the drama of the Vs card game and how Upper Deck stated they hated working with DC because they were so costly on revisions and refusing anything that would be a cost saver UD.

Yup. All lego figs with that style of skirt/robe are like that, because it uses studs and not the leg pegs. You'd think in the 20+ years they'be made figures like this that they'd make a mould of a slope with the leg pegs but no, they haven't. Nature of the beast.

Mostly unrelated, but it triggers me how little of the minidolls are compatible with normal minifigs. At Least the hair/hats are, but fuck I'd prefer it if they had standard hands/heads, or at least had separate moveable legs that affixed to the standard leg peg. The incompatibility issues are nowhere near galidor levels, but still...

No, I believe that the boxes are actually sorted by figure, at least to some degree. I always feel out the figures I want and I tend to find the same figures next to each other in freshly opened boxes a lot too.

Not him, but it needs some detail to break up the monotony of the four curved pieces. I'd look at a window or a fastback designs. There's a ton of shit you can put on the back of a car to rice it out, like louvers, or hoses for a sci-fi look.

There's this list: http://downtheblocks.blogspot.com/2017/05/kazi-ky6601-ky6607-x-agents-minifigs.html which has at least one set I've never seen (the one with the blue ring-shaped thing and the green car with the huge front wheels).

This seller https://www.aliexpress.com/store/2061007
seems to have all the X-Agents sets except for the small sets with individual vehicles, and the sets with single minifigs and Dimensions knockoffs, all of which you can find if you just search X-Agents.

Thanks, that Batman wave is a blessing and a curse, I was able to get every fig I wanted but where I work we're on our 5th and 6th boxes, and now that the hype is down they're not selling too well anymore, so product isn't moving.

Also a quick tangent that the amount of obscure villains in plastic is insane, gonna have to brick link the rest at this point because lego thinks I'm crazy enough to spend $60 on Tarantula and Zebraman.

If you ask me, the quality is comparable to Lego. I know I'm not making any friends with that. Maybe I'm just too dense to tell the difference. They feel the same, the clutch feels the same, they make the texture of the sound is the same when you paw through looking for a piece. I don't have any Lepin sets so I can't compare.

I bought the X-Agents ones because I thought they were cool. I don't feel any special allegiance to Lego, even though I respect it for being the highest quality.

Its a shame bc now after growing up and moving out I just use the regular terms.

You need the peroxide to degrade to get any effect. Putting them in the sun will kill the peroxide and it will eat away the yellowing. Make sure to stir them often so the bubbles get shaken off.

You need UV rays to accelerate the process (i.e. put them in the sun). If a day under the sun with dilute peroxide doesn't help, then you're dealing with staining, rather than the typical ABS discoloration, and you need to look into other methods for cleaning.

I loved Mixels when it first started, but then it kept going for so many waves and at a point I had to stop. If I had known it was going to go on for several waves, I would have been more selective in which ones I would have bought from the beginning. That being said, I still have fun fooling around with them.

So they use a singular balancing cheater rubber wheel, wich works pretty ok.
But this also makes it not do the cornering where one track moves forth the other back.

The holes in those track links are standard pin size, and there's rubber inserts available that give them friction. I know the Fortrex came with some. Maybe get some of those?

I just finished building it, the legs and torso are great, but the arms are stuck up in that sort of T pose. Really weird design decision considering most LEGO mechs have had decent articulation.

I still think you should make that fireplace swivel. If a turntable build doesn't work, consider suspending the entire fireplace by a jumper plate underneath the center with tiles on either side. You can use another jumper plate for the fulcrum on the top.
