At one point I was explaining why the 1964 vs Mothra film is one of the most provoking films, well-executed films in the series next to '54, and some guy (I doubt trolling) told me it was about "Godzilla fighting two turds." And just recently we had somebody defending the 1967 suit, only to unironically be called a "Goji tard" by some no-name modeler claiming he's very "selective" with his kaiju.
Along with people claiming they've never seen a Godzilla film but want the toys, I constantly see some of the dumbest things ever uttered in relation to the hobby/fandom, and it's just as bad as on the toy specific front. We have NECA arguments that need to be purged everyday by the same autist using a dynamic IP, who is just as bad if not worst than the guy that would respond to every non-SHMA toy as a "doggy chew toy" and drop screencaps of a facebook group filled with people he has a mentally-ill obsession with.
I'm actually fascinated people come around here seriously, I only come around to troll on occasion and post statues to trigger people, I take my actual discussion of kaiju films and merch elsewhere. Out of everywhere I've been to, the people in this thread are probably one-step below Youtube Kaiju comments (at least they have an excuse for being 99% children)
