I thought there was only short jacket and scarf? From what I can tell, short jacket has the better alt, Chris Pratt head but only has the guns otherwise, while scarf comes with the Walkman? I think, and the scarf piece in addition to the guns and a different, maybe not as good Pratt head.

Yeah, there's one from Vol. 1, which came with the Walkman, headphones, a really bad Pratt head, the guns of course, and the gem/gem container from the movie which I forget the name of.

The one that comes with Ego looks to be the same as the first wave release for Vol. 2, which doesn't come with anything outside of the guns and alt head, though it might come with something we haven't seen yet as well since I don't think it's released. Wave 2 for Vol. 2 is scarf-lord, which has the longer coat along with what I think is a Walkman and a new alt head. I'd say wait for that one, if you want the longer coat look, since Vol. 1-Lord aged pretty badly due to his joints being so rubbery. Only thing you'd miss out on is the gem thingy, really.

So what're my options for a milano? I'm not the biggest fan of the colorscheme but it's a pretty great design. Something with articulated wings would be perfect, but I'm not too picky.

I suggest joining marvel legends Facebook groups, ive been getting good deals and some dude is selling the whole new GOTG wave for cost but I'm not into it

I got a Warlock for $34 and I'm not into it. The limbs go loose really quickly and he just feels cheap. He looks cool but eh...idk I don't recommend hunting for him

Main problems with the Lego sets is the first was based on concept art and had a fair few things in the wrong places and such! The second was smaller than the first but had a great canopy and nose, It didnt take too long to make a far more accurate one with both!

The hasbro toy is probably one of the most accurate toys of the film version desu

Picked these three up on Free Cimic Book Day at my local comic shop, really enjoying them. Tongue and Angela might currently be tied with Green Goblin for my favorite Marvel Legends of the year.

Darkhawk is the guilty pleasure because I love the look and always liked him in crossover events.

The quality might have to be the best seen on a wave in a while though, not a single one has any kind of loose joint whatsoever.

The Nerf ones were pretty accurate and with some paint can be made to look screen accurate.

Just cause we're getting Death Head II doesn't mean we can't get the original one down the road.

Look at Classic Beetle in the new Spidey wave. I never thought we'd get another Beetle so quickly after the Ultimate Beetle and Fem-Beetle but Hasbro did it.

Hasbro can clearly use some Colossus parts like they did with the 1:18 line to do a Legends figure.

I honestly cant tell if its from true popularity because of the movie or just one holy asshole of a scalper.

Its in the middle of bumfuck nowhere but we do have 3 well known scalpers that tear ass through our toy aisle about once or twice a month, used to be a fourth until he got banned after trying to horde all the hatchimals on black friday and attempted to snatch the single one he didnt get out of a womans buggy

Posted this in the last thread but Marvel Select has a bunch of villains that fit with Legends. Thanos, Juggernaut, Ultron, Rhino, and Abomination can be had for much cheaper than the ML BAFs. Destroyer and Lizard are good too.

You know what pisses me off most about Yondu? The fucking plastic on his torso stresses when you use the crunch. You can literally see it happen in Anthonycustoms review and in Shartimusprime's review his is stressed at the same spot.

Because he's not on a BAF mold. They explained at a con about it. Since Mantis would require 100% new molding they could slide her into the wave with BAF tooling. BAF molds have to be reworked previous BAFS or new molds. Basically, we're lucky to get it at all.

I kiiiind of want to disagree with this, but I'm not really happy with either option. The legends somehow ended up with way more range of motion where it matters, but he looks like a goober in a neutral pose because his arms can't really come down. They even have a pretty similar level of detail going on, the figuarts is slightly better there but probably not to the point of justifying 5x the price. I'm hoping bandai takes another crack at it for the BP movie.

I don't own that one, I was so fed up with ML Iron Men at that point that I refused to buy any more. Plus it came with Disco, and as you said, can't even give that shit away. I took a look at a review though, and it looks surprisingly okay. It's pretty rare to see a true balljoint ankle on a ML. IMO the hips are too wide-set and the legs too skinny though.

It's the best Gambit. It's a great scult, but the proportions are wonky. However, it's more poseable than any current ML and most Revoltechs, and the trenchcoat hides the hideos shoulders that makes it look bad.

Sure, but i can't see Hasbro making a better Gambit.
Unless you have something against Gambit's face, the trenchcoat Toy Biz provided is going to be better than anything Hasbro can make. Hasbro's soft goods are way way way worse and if Hasbro makes the trenchcoat out of plastic, you just lost all of Gambit's agility and that doesn't make for a good Gambit figure.

If you don't like the Toy Biz sculpt that isn't hidden by the trenchcoat, i think the best option will be Mezco making one.

Speaking of which, they're making a black suit Spiderman.

Ehhh...I'm mostly happy with the way most Mezco figures look, but this one isn't doing it for me. The silhouette looks strange and the head is too...boiled egg in shape. It's not a good look overall.

The recent ML is ALMOST good in my book--I like that they reused the Scarlet Spider head, as the low-placed eyes remind me of the way McFarlane drew the suit. I'm not a fan of the pizza Spidey body though, wish they'd used something else. Something newer and better.

So he just arrived. He's massive as fuck so he's using that Colossus buck.
The gun I'm a little sad the extra hand wasn't for, I assumed it was a slip on, but nope. It's just a pointing finger. I love the sculpt, and he's all but perfect, aside from the head articulation. He can't look around much because the hair behind his head is a thicker plastic, but the strands on the front are fine and a lot softer so looking down and turning the head is alright. I love the coloring. I don't have many X-Men figures, but when I get some he's definitely getting posed with them.
Kinda reminds me if something from MOTUC
I would reccomend him if you want a big bulky dude or a kinda larger figure to mess with.

Was pretty scared the leg-spikes on his calves/shins would break during transit or whatever, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bottom half of his leg is somewhat articulate. It breaks the sculpt up a little, but it's not too terrible because it's between the bands, but it's still a little meh.

I'm happy with the figure, hoping we get DH1 soon as well. Overall, I think he's a good toy.

To maximize their investment in new tooling. The torso, head, forearms, and waist thing are all new and otherwise would've been sunk costs for the SDCC set.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, they've been slowly tooling the pieces for a classic Strange

> SDCC/HB - head, forearms, hands, torso
> Dormammu - cape
> Shatterstar - upper arms

Instead of sinking all that cost into one figure at once, they spread it over four figures and now they can make classic Strange with existing pieces

Anybody here normally order cases from BBTS? Im considering getting the second wave of Guardians but I don't know if it's a better idea to preorder the case now or to wait until they start popping up in Amazon later on. Whoever does the mezco product shots is terrible. They take shots when there is clearly something off with a figure, like the new exclusive wolverine has bent claws in the promo shots.

They also never color balance right. I see tons of amateur shots of their stuff that looks way better than their promos.

Right. They are selling a premium product at premium prices, but their photographer makes the figures look awful in favor of photoshopped to hell backgrounds and lighting/effects.

Its been a consistent problem since the line began that figures look substantially better in person than promo shots because of the people they have on it now.

Anyone got this guy? I got him and Carnage, the waist wasn't as stiff as Carnage's right out the box, and the more I messed with it I noticed it stays tight as it needs to in different positions but it kinda moves on its own sometimes when moving the figure

I'm kinda ocd and just can tell these are the kinda waists that will flop around eventually if worn out a lot, are they supposed to be super tight all the time or is it normal to loosen up? Scared mines worn out already, only opened it a few hours ago

Probably get a lot of crap for this, but does everyone really think this figure is good? I mean, I watched one review and was enough for me to decide that it was not worth getting even if I wanted too. It's top heavy which causes his whole body to flop around while trying to pose and the shoulders look a little odd. Looks okay sculpt and paint, but I don't want to pay 80 plus dollars for a somewhat loose figure that's difficult to pose.

Are you talking about the one review where it's freely spinning around because it had a defective hole holding the joint? Most the reviews i've seen it has been slightly wobbly but holds a pose just fine. The wobbliness is unavoidable without some new joint system because it's a single revolver joint holding up a big bulky upper half and connecting it to a smaller lower half and the mid torso piece is just a floating piece that moves around and offers no support.

I think the figure is good in the sense you can LITERALLY roll him up into a ball and get him into the most dynamic poses a Venom action figure will ever be in. If you just want an imposing Venom on your shelf and don't care about hyper articulation then there is a lot of other good options.

Really awesome figure. His smiling head isn't that great, but the whistling head bears a really good resemblance to Michael Rooker. very satisfied with him, and got him for 5 bucks off at Target

I highly recommend Remender's Venom vol 2. Cullen Bunn continues the last half of the run, but Remender is what really got me into it.

Agent Venom is now my favorite comicbook character because of it.

Also, I'm not sure if you guys knew this, but you don't have to compete every BAF if you don't want to. The whole point is to lure fans of the character to buy figures they otherwise wouldn't buy so they can complete it. Theyre not aiming super hard to make sure you get the best quality extra free shit packaged with shit you're going to buy either way, it's a marketing ploy.

If you ended up with a BAF you think is shit, then either obviously you didn't think it was shit enough to not get, or you got figures that were worth getting either way, so fuck it.

I'm drunk sorry guys lmao personally I long for the BAFs of the past few years, this year has been garbage. Warlock looks cool but is a flimsy piece of shit and every one I've seen so far has at least one limb that is loose to the point it can only hang aimlessly, nobody gives a shit about making bigass wings, and now this GotG normal sized shit. I love Marvel Legends, but for years now it seems like there's a 50/50 chance every figure I get is going to have at least one super loose limb.

It's bizarre how little quality some of the guys have, if you even straighten their legs out they can snap apart or if you move an arm joint one time it can loosen up to the point it will never be tight again. Does Ray Charles work for Hasbro doing quality control?

How have you guys not gone insane, I know you know what I'm talking about. I got a new Ghost Rider yesterday and as soon as I straightened his arm, it started dangling loose and the joint is like dead. Is there a way to tighten these things? If you can disassemble the joint and apply it directly to the offending parts that's perfect, if you can't, you might still be able to dribble it into the gaps and get the benefits still. DH2 isn't really a villain, started out as more of an anti-hero, and since has had multiple team-ups with the X-Men and Captain Britain. More of a UK character, despite most of his stories taking place in the US.

Terrax would be a good match for Captain Universe (the lore behind him is a little weird) and DH2 would be an alright stand-in for another villain, preferably Annihilus or Magus.

A Target near me had MLs on sale for once (though, kinda lame: GoTG1 figs from the first movie were $19+, and GoTG2 figs were $16), so grabbed a v2 Star-Lord, just so I can do the coat swap.

I think you're right. I've seen two different Targets in my area have the Groot Wave along with the Titus Wave. I only hope that the second Vol 2 wave gets as big a push in my area as the first one did. I found the entire wave at multiple stores. Had no problem getting everyone I wanted from that wave. I think I shared this but want to again to potentially help out, I bought a broken Sunfire and emailed Hasbro, they asked for a pic of the part that's broken, the code on the back of the figure and the vendor number of where I got it (I just sent a screen shot of my reciept). Two days later I check the mail and they sent me a Cyclops. You don't even have to send the broken one in.

I like that they used translucent plastic for her powers, but the transition at that shoulder is pretty jarring. They should have faded some opaque blue paint down into the bicep to make that flow smoother.
