For better or worse, System and CCBS discussions tend to stay separate from each other; merging the two together would probably result in a lot less being done in both of them.

I don't usually buy sets for minifigs, but I made an exception for the Dimensions Sonic pack when I found it on sale. After finding out the instructions were in game only, I just made a Sonic.

A lot of new sets are really just system sets built in technic. I do miss the more skeletal look of older technic lines, but the engineering has never been more complex than what we have today.

Yeah, sales are dropping and with the games current technical state it probably wouldn't be possible to fit another year of content in without a Skylanders style sequel. The game is a fucking mess of bugs and crashes right now, and it only gets worse with each update.

Speed Champions is such an odd theme too me.

Way to many stickers and designs that are 7/10. If your medium is interconnecting bricks of all colors and you want vehical length stripes, build it.

Disappointing, but rewarding to rectify.

Also the gt40 is nearly perfect, the new GT however, is abysmal.

I'm was looking at the 918 and 917 set, I'll most likely get it, and be back here complaining.

Gulf GT40 and 917 though, that's my end game.

I agree, i'm also not such a fan of 4-wide centred cockpits but they make great partspacks and some stickers came in handy for other mocs.
I'm thankful for the new wheel-related pieces they introduced alone. I would've been all over them as a kid probably.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man Tell No Tales and the only thing I can say about the movie is:Amazing. It was the reboot of the franchise,they go back to the basic idea of the first movie.
Javier Bardem is delicious as Captain Armando Salazar. There is plenty of references to the first trilogy. We get more references to possible sequels and villains.I can say that Pirates of the Caribbean 6 will happen sooner than we think.

If I make a combiner, it will probably be the way megazord toys are. I kinda like the idea of putting together combining parts around the scale of Dimensions vehicles, but I think those might be TOO tiny.

I might also do something with fewer than five parts to start with: In my headcanon, the group started with Royce, Beth and Mikey (Red, Blue and Green) and then added Claude and Gina (Black and Yellow) somewhat later, kinda like in Engine Sentai Go-Onger, which started out with Red, Blue and Yellow, and added Black and Green later.

Whatever I come up with, they'll probably be like classic Japanese combiners: Big blocky elements that combine into a big blocky giant robo.

I usually don't bother acknowledging these people but its gotten to a point where even normies are trying flip their year old battle packs for double the price and all the stores have half their shit hidden around for them brickseek deals.

I'm only glad that Lego re-releases half of their star wars sets with improvements every few years because the "investors" are so ever strong in scalping up star wars.

Buy used if your that desperate for the Klocki. I buy 20-30 lb. tubs for between $50-$100 every time I have the urge. I get everything including Star Wars, Batman, Harry Potter sets mixed in. Yeah, my primary army is Battle Droids, but that also means I've ended up with a various assortment of Clone Troopers.
Naturally I also acquired a few OT Stormtroopers as well as the First Order Transport, so I just made them one continuous Peach Empire.

It does take a while to sort. I sort specific pieces like tiles and hinges and other smaller pieces into small drawers. Other more common brick I will sort by color and put in larger Sterlite tote/drawers like red 1x2 1x4 1x6 etc. That's easy enough to grab what I need when building.

I'll buy enough to almost overwhelm me because I know sorting will take a while. I also like to keep a tub or two mixed to get the creativity flowing. Sometimes seeing everything mixed gives me an idea I would not have necessarily had otherwise.

Really glad I waited until after I went to make a cracklink order, because they have the white neck ruffs ($1.50 each on cracklink), CMF S1 nurse torsos, tennis rackets, CMF Cowgirl hats with braid, the pink punk chick "big hair", the black version from the CMF Rock Star (only plain black with no silver lightning bolt printing), blue ponytail, and a ton of other CMF torsos. I checked out Bricks and Minifigs today, got pic related for $9. It's around 140 pieces, and if I had been more clever I could have packed in some more 1x1 clips. The minifigs seemed overpriced but the bulk parts seem like an ok deal if you only pick out the unusual pieces. Where I was, there was a decent mix of new stuff and older parts, especially finger hinges, which was a nice surprise.

It's using internal names for parts, so it's a jumble of weird terms and Danish.

Either get used to the categories or get used to bricklink/brickset categories - you can search part numbers in LDD directly.

One switches between VTOL and flight mode. The thruster vectors down, the wings tilt, and hidden flaps open revealing a hidden turboprop engine. Gorgeous in motion.

You might be able to buy straight peroxide, but make sure you dilute it if it's a higher concentration than 6%.

I haven't been able to buy straight peroxide in my area. Everybody only stocks hydrogen peroxide, and when I ask for straight peroxide they just tell me it's right there on the shelf.

Is it possible to order peroxide without the hydrogen online? Like, off Amazon? I've tried looking there but they seem to only have the hydrogen kind too.
