Early reports showed that Black Panther with Walmart stickers and the first news report said it would be a Walmart exclusive, but to my knowledge the only one that actually got released was a Walgreens exclusive. At least I can't find any images or posts confirming he was actually released at Walmart.

They were $7-8 for the first 3 or 4 waves and have increased steadily like every other action figure.

I remember when GIJoe:RAH figures and Star Wars figures were $2.25. Now they're $8.

It's not really a spoiler to say that he wears it I believe through the opening act of the movie, and then again a bit later (maybe through the final act? I don't remember exactly, it's been a few weeks). It's sorta covered up whenever he wears the jetpack thing, though.

He first puts on that shirt after they leave the Sovereign. Before that he had the rest of the outfit on, plus the jetpack.

He wears that outfit sans jacket while they're escaping the Sovereign fleet, but then when they leave for Ego's planet he wears the longcoat and scarf. But after they arrive and start settling in he puts the short jacket on for pretty much the rest of the movie.

I loved it when it was at its peak, around 2011-2012. They were going places with the articulation and the sculpts were spot on.

Then they started slowly killing the line by cutting things. First the stands, then accessories, then articulation, and now you pay more money to get a barely articulated chunk of plastic with shit details for most of the figures.

It's depressing.

Got me, $27. Sentinel was $25 and I got Warstar for $2 (he was gonna be $4)

The Sentinel is pretty beat up and played with, which is kind of nice to see that a toy like this was really loved, and then sold at a reasonable price for it to have been played with like such.

When I was collecting the first Legends back in the day they were $8 and yeah, they all came with display bases and comics plus the packaging was way nicer for moc fags. The BaFs were huge and very nicely detailed. Now you're lucky to get a alternate head or hands, all the packaging is the same, and we get tiny BaFs. Thanks Obama.

I'm quite new to the whole toys ordeal. I've recently bought the Marvel Select Anti-Venom and the Mutant Spider-man from Toy Biz. This month I got the 90ies spider from ToyBiz, Venom from Marvel Select and a sweet Batman, though the last one isn't marvel-related.

My question is: What is the chance of getting the Agent Venom and Carnage figures from Marvel Select for a reasonable price with shipping to Europe? I've found that it might be a real struggle.

Nah, it's entirely on China no longer being satisfied with being slaves and building a middle class.
Labor costs more now and toys have been hit by that increase since 2008. It wasn't just oil or the economy taking a giant shit that hit almost every single toy company hard. Labor costs were increasing since 2005/2006.

It's the only Wolverine not represented by Hasbro (if you count the Return of Marvel Legends red hulk wave, though, it was a crappy figure) so I believe we may get him in the next wave. I kinda hate the X-Force and Astonishing costumes as well as the PeePee/PooPoo costume so i know how you feel anon.

Seems like we've gotten at least one Summers/Grey and a variation of Wolverine with each wave so here's hoping we can snag either a Vulcan or Nate Grey/X-Man as well.

The "moons everywhere" shit is kinda weird.

I have the 3.75" one. The figure sucks dick and could have easily been saved by some waist articulation. I really dig the texture on the cape and hood on it.

I think a modern Scott Lang figure on the Pizza Spidey buck would look okay. Not ideal maybe, but I'd take that over yet another Bucky Cap any day.

thats why I suggested the Strange torso. it has the more natural cloth look that doesn't suck to the contours of every muscle on a body. the new 2099 body is a good option though. my biggest gripe with the pizza spidey body is that they never change the feet. Southwestern PA here and I'm guessing these are going to drop any day now. My local Wal-Mart and Targets have the other figures, the two packs and the action feature figures. Wal-Mart even has the Ultimate Vulture two pack. I'm expecting to see this wave at the Three Rivers Con this weekend scalped at terrible prices. If they're not too high I might consider getting Tombstone and Beetle but I know Moonknight will be.

I really wish they made a half masked head for that Deadpool. I have a second one I got for helping a friend keep his storage unit, and I've been thinking of trying to hack the two heads together and using some sculpt to make it look like the mask is rolled up, but then I'd be left with a headless Deadpool.

The face and paint is great, and she looks fine from the front, but when you start to pose her or see things from the side, it starts looking terrible. With the long neck, giant ankles, zero shape to the legs, and weirdly thick mid section. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I'm let down

This is what I'm talking about. It does not pull poses well due to the poor joint design and shapelessness. It looks fucking awesome standing in a display, but as soon as I go to take some shots of it fighting with Gamora, I can't get it to look good at all.

I do appreciate all the Ultimate figures we've gotten, and am not trying to knock any of them, but I still think that Beetle was an odd choice. He showed up briefly for one arc and fucked off to Latveria never to be seen again, aside from his armor making a brief cameo.

An Ultimate Venom BAF would be neat. I'm satisfied with using my Venom Revo for that right now despite it not being 1:1 accurate to that design, but I understand that figure's not for everyone and definitely wouldn't be opposed to a new ML.

I didn't like a lot of the Ultimate Universe stuff I read outside of Ultimate Spider-Man, but USM is one of my favorite comics

Doppleganger and Sp//dr are on my list of wants.

I think the ideal way to do Doc Ock would be the way they're doing the movie Vulture BAF, where Otto himself is a single release figure but his tentacles are the BAF. It's not ideal, but I don't see Hasbro doing him justice otherwise.

This is the reason he was made. Around the same time he got the Legends figure he also showed up in a Lego spider-man set based on the cartoon. They also did some other crossover figures like White Tiger and Taskmaster.

I got so lucky with that whole wave. Picked up Ben from a toys r us, then decided to pick up Kraven and Chameleon from a Walmart later. EddieToxin looks like kind of a boring figure compared to the other symbiotes. I guess it mostly comes from the relative lack of surface details like a chest symbol or something to break up all the red.

Also, it'd probably just get in the way, but seeing him without that huge mane of tendrils is a little disappointing.

The arms and legs are definite reuses. The torso might be also if his tunic is an overlay.

I think it's a safe bet to assume that the Skurge BAF probably shares parts with Bor.

Grabbed a few headcasts from the casting cave so I can mod my punisher more to my liking. I'm currently debating on weather I should paint his, boots, gloves, and holsters black, or white so I can have a better theme. I'm thinking Black tho. I also took a Ghost Headcast and dremeled it to fit my Scourge since I decided randomly I want a mercenary team.
