>>6350244>shit that we used to laugh at because it was rude, is not funny anymore.Nah, fuck off.
Shit will always be funny, because it came out when people weren't overly sensitive Millennials who are offended by almost everything. So all the people who enjoyed it before Millenials came into adult society can still like it and tell them to fuck off, because to many of people it was the norm to laugh at it.
Anyone who does laugh is seen as racist/ignorant/bigotted/etc but people still laugh anyway.... but these people don't count, do they?
Your argument amounts to no True Scotsman, because to go against what Milenials believe amounts to being from /pol/, despite people just various things funny and not actually being racist/bigotted/etc.
There's lots and lots of cases where media personalities have to self censor or apologize, because of complaints.
Sure, there's the outward norms, but people in general do not match up with that and why various NOT normative behaviors/movies/celebrities/PRESIDENTS become popular, because the outward norm is very suppressive (thanks to SJW). See hippies in the 60s/70s for the opposite of today (and possibly Generation Z).
Also, i do agree that they should make their own character instead of taking an established one and changing them.
I also don't think Hasbro should really change things all that much either. Their missteps have more to do with delays (GI Joe 2) and putting all their properties on a channel few people/kids could access.
