>>6360250Even if you're right about ABEC rating meaning very little when it comes to these toys, fidget spinners with ABEC-11 do exist, and they obviously spin faster, better, and longer than those with lower tier ABEC bearings.
But the point is not the ABEC rating alone, rather that with that mechanical design with 4 double geared rings where 6 friction points are added, ABEC-7 is not enough to counter said friction, so the spinner will run slower and for a lot less time than a normal spinner with the same bearings.
With that amount of friction, an ABEC-9 would be needed to reach the same speeds and duration of normal spinners.
TL;DR
the issue is not the ABEC-7 bearing itself, rather the design adding to much friction for an ABEC-7 to perform on par with other spinners
