A quick scouring of EBay and Aliexpress shows no signs of bootleg Mako existing...yet.
How to Tell a Bootleg Online:
1) Seller is located in some part of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Malasia, or any part of the world other than Japan or N. America. USA /Canada MIGHT be passing on their bootleg to you, be careful.
2) Pictures are either all stock photos from GSC's site and/or are of the figures badly posed or in the package haphazardly.
3) Check reviews/feedback of the seller. If there are any talking about an item being 'cheap', 'low quality', 'fake', etc then it's likely a bootleg they are selling.
4) Price will be LOW. Bootlegs rarely match the retail or aftermarket price of legit products (exception being after a bidding war done by idiots).
It would seem you're safe, anon.
