Since I only collected the Figuarts pokemon but stopped after that abomination of a Pikachu, what are some Pokemon figs that scale well with them? I just bought the Charmeleon/Ivysaur/Wartortle 3 pack because they apparently scale well, and then I just bought the Z bracelet thing that comes with that tiny Pikachu because I like that pose the most of all the chus. Also just pre-ordered the Red figure that comes with all 3 starters.

Thanks. Idk, I guess I have a gen 1 preference but I'm more curious to see just how many pokemon scale with these guys. I'm not entirely sure how many I'd get out of a massive pool of figures due to clutter. Right now I'm eyeing that cubone that come with the Pikachu and pokeballs, but then I'd need a marowwk that scales.

Cool. Well the Jakks Pacific line are actually pretty good for variety and scale (not everything, but lots of stuff is in the ballpark). A browse through google images will give you an idea of what they made. Pic related is an example of some of them. I have the Gengar line myself. But there's also Lickitung, Elecktabuzz, Golduck, Golbat etc. Tomy have also released an amazing Greninja figure and a Machamp too.

Due to spiralling into clutter, I'm also trying to contain my collection. Mostly just narrowing it to starter Pokemon. There's actually quite a lot.

Oh I see. Well I'm in the EU too (Ireland), and I actually just got another Nendoroid Red in the post today. He was a PC exclusive, so I had to order from them directly to my middleman (BiJ). My shipping cost ¥1540. 540 for domestic shipping and then ¥500 forwarding/registered SAL to here. It was pretty quick too, he came out earlier this month.

That being said, this is very disappointing to see. How tall are these figures? Whether I go with Ash or Team Rocket depends on that. I want to know which of these would actually scale well with my other figures.

Unless you're in one of those very specific Asian countries, it seems so. All of the middleman sellers (including the one I preordered mine from) have just offered the regular release with no Pikachu. It's a little disappointing but I don't mind too much since it was just a solid figurine and it will be fairly easy to find a suitable one separately

What was the deal? Something like the Pokemon company partially owns them now? If that's the case I hope that they essentially just continue off of tomy's scale line, which was probably the best domestic Pokemon figure effort yet. Maybe they think these guys wouldn't sell as well as the others, or maybe the ones already released haven't sold well? I've only seen them for sale on Amazon and ToyWiz as opposed to being in big retailers. I though for sure Toys R Us would have them.

So many possibilities we could be guessing at for hours. Seems to boil down to if you really want these three, get them on eBay while you can or take the risk that this is (hopefully) just some kind of early release thing.

So I bought the Red Champion Version Nendroid (the one that comes with just Charizard) at a convention today and I can't get the stand to peg into the backpack. Even the stand pegged into his regular doesn't fit that well.

Ash is more mediocre. Pikachu especially looks godawful with the three segment articulation they've done which is hardly worth it.

I agree to an extent, they do look like figures from a cheaper line, especially Ash and pikachu. Didn't bother taking a picture but his lower body joints and jacket paint looks super cheap.

The articulation on TR makes up for it for me. I may be a little biased because Jessie is my 12 yo kid me waifu.

The biggest Lapras is in 1/18th scale (138 mm), the three medium ones are nice hand-held size but not any specific scale, the smallest was for shits and giggles. The medium ones use the PokePark model but the big and small ones use the Pokken Tournament model and look better.

BNC3D Sigma in ABS, and a lot of post-processing - print, spot putty, sand, primer, sand, primer, sand, paint, sand, paint, touch-ups, more paint. I want to try acetone smoothing but I don't have the ventilation or spare equipment for it yet. The biggest Lapras is ABS with an additional layer of epoxy resin, the smallest was printed on a Formlabs Form 2.

My bet is Tsareena will only happen after she evolves in the anime. Every other main mon in the anime has a Tomy (Turtonator, A-Vulpix, Mimikyu, Rockruff, Komala, Rotomdex), but there isn't even a Bounsweet or Steenee yet.

Well I finally found Mega Mawile after all this time and she was at Target
But I do have to say that after having Mewtwo, Greninja and ash greninja, machamp that Mega Mawile is the worst figure I've had ever

As soon as I carefully opened the box and tried popping out her out, her arms just fell out. Her feet, due to the printing labels, are misaligned. Her 2 false mouths weigh over 2lbs each and when you pick her up they droop down causing the thin part that connects to the back of her head to stretch like bubble gum.
