>>6385499>But shittier engineering, and depends which mp's we are talking about.Pretty much MP-10 through 21, and even a few after that. Engineering was great, and details combined the best parts of toy, cartoon and original ideas where necessary.
>>6385497Hardly. See: MP Inferno. An earlier MP release of the character would have put the toy-accurate sculpting on his legs and elsewhere where the cartoon design is lacking. Instead, he's the most boring, red brick I've ever seen. Artfire blows him the fuck out because he takes so many cues from the toy instead.
We've had this argument on this board so many times, and there's no consensus. The fandom is split into two groups:
>people who want the MPs to look exactly like the cartoon>people who want the MPs to look good>>6385524Apart from Grimlock, MP-01 through 09 may as well not exist anymore.
>The old car bots move well but can't do what sunstreaker can in some cases like the datsunsTrue, but I'm going to wait until we have the final in hand. Most MP car bods didn't have extreme posability because their transformations were simpler. Sunstreaker looks like all of that articulation might come at the cost of having an absolute clusterfuck of a transformation, like MP 36 did. With the higher price, I wouldn't doubt it.
